WIFE: "Oooh! This is one of the better episodes of 'Glee'!"

ME: "That's like saying, "This is one of the least smelly piles of poop'."

For some reason, I have been banished from the room, so I'm logging off.

Question for Big Tiki:

Outside of a full trip report - which we eagerly await...

How was the newly refurb'ed TIKI ROOM?

If Brent can't answer I can, even used a tip from Deb's documents and my son Hunter started the show:yay:

I'd rather see him customize one of these:

Maybe he could put spinners on it to match Fed's boat!

Andy - I could've swore this was an industrialized Wahl trimmer for Barry's back hair!

:rotfl2:
I've contacted the Forrestry Department. Even they don't have anything strong enough to clear cut this manly mane. :thumbsup2

I'm glad it doesn't chop the livestock to feed to the plants. That would be rather unsettling.
Maybe not, but this thing has been known to do a pretty good number on rabbit that aren't fast enough to get out of the way. I've heard. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:

(That's a swather, used to cut hay down and lay it into nice, neat rows. They have rapidly oscillating teeth on the bottom, and two rollers in the middle in the back that flatten the hay - or anything else - that goes through them.)

Barry, I'm going to have to see if I can get some pictures for you Thursday. I'll see if they have any dairy equipment there, but this is mostly corn belt stuff... so I doubt it.:rotfl2:
:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
My brother was telling me that there is a corporate farm about 20 miles from where I grew up that will be hosting Farm Progress Days next year. I may have to take a wander up there myself.

25 Days until POR and we can't wait! Also, 4 Days until the Alabama Crimson Tide kick off(Also can't wait.)
Have a great trip!

8 pm, exactly four weeks from now at this time, tammy should be carrying all the bags, coolers, containers into okw so she can unpack them while i sit with my feet up giving orders.:lmao:
8:05 pm, exactly four weeks from now, Tammy will be whipping your a$$ with a frying pan. :thumbsup2

Just as long as she doesn't mess with the part in his hair, it covers up the plate from where she whooped him the first time :lmao::lmao:

And already on your second beer!

Only the 2nd beer? Slacker.

We know who wears the pants in our family? We do ...

... when our wives lets us. Watch out for that fryin pan, coat hanger, or whatever else she is taking to your butt.

How was the newly refurb'ed TIKI ROOM?

Once I have a bit if free time I'll start the TR, still have one suitcase to unpack:lmao:

Tikiroom was okay, I guess it was like the original show (never saw that), but I liked the "New Management" and found this one quaint, but a bit too mild. Where I would gp to Tikiroom a couple of times per visit, once a trip will suffice me. DW loved it though.:confused3

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: I am not allowed in the room when DW watches Twilight

My son just told me, that he found out at daycare that you can write a note to the tooth fairy asking for toys instead of money.

I wonder how that'll work for him. :lmao:

a place i fit in. my wife definitely thinks i got disney on the brain and my ds knows that disney is always brought up when vacation plans come up. love to be part of the group!!!

I like it! Considering the fact that we don't have a forage chopper anyway... :lmao:

I got a deer with this a couple of months ago...

And we've got a few chickens, possums, rabbits, raccoons, squirrels, groundhogs and even skunks with one of these over the years...

The tooth fairy shared a note with us that my then 8 year old wrote and placed under her pillow. She had a tooth pulled early for orthodontic expander, and since the tooth was so big, asked the tooth fairy to give her money and leave her the tooth as well.

I liked Tiki room but was not a huge fan. I enjoyed being able to sit and rest in the shade before the show and then the air conditioning. It is not one of our must dos, but am interested to see the changes.

Good lord… spend a day or so sick in bed  and you miss a whole lot around here.

Barry,
Nice work on perfecting you cliff diving skills. Glad to hear that everyone is doing well (and that last little bit is the difference between a Shakespearian tragedy and one heck of a great family story). And… big props to Madison for jumping right back on that bike. :thumbsup2

I will definitely have to check those things out when we go. Do you think a 22 month old toddler is too young to take to story time?

Of course not… being as story time is as much for dad as for the kid’s anyway, I think any age will qualify :rolleyes1 (that being said, I do believe I’d get the stink eye from most of the other folks in the room is I used that same logic with my 16 year-old :lmao:).

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

This applies to about 75% of everything on TV and 95% of the stuff my DW likes to watch. Needless to say, I’ve been continually exiled from the Telle-viewing-room for years now with no reprieve in site.

Have you guys ever gotten any calls from PETA? Just wondering...

My DW loves it when I tell the story of how I discovered a rabbit nest in our yard while mowing the lawn...:rolleyes1

My kids always ask for the tooth back as well. Not sure if they picture the tooth fairy as some evil ogre making jewelry out of their rotten teeth, or what. :confused3
