Boulevard is very good. But Free State is AWESOME. They've stayed small, thanks to a combination of restrictive Kansas licensing laws and their own space limitations, but their beer is excellent. My favorite is John Brown Ale, but they're not bottling it yet. It's only available at their brewpub in Lawrence. I'm thinking I may need to drive up to Lawrence soon and splurge on a growler so I can bring some home.

Well, the next trip to WDW is in 59 days so I may need to wait until then to pony up the Dole Whips but how about this for my bacon installment? This is my attempt at "Bacon Explosion" Given that it is two pounds of homemade Iowa pork sausage, filled with 1# of bacon crumbles and then wrapped with another pound of bacon woven into a bacon cloth (all covered with BBQ sauce and rub and then smoked) I hope this qualifies for the double bacon requirement.

BTW, the beer in this second picture is my "award winning" British Bitter homebrew.
