This has been quite the beverly morning. Excuse me while I break some of this news... Got a call late last night that my paternal grandmother passed away. She was just over 90, so it's not entirely unexpected... but still surprising to hear how quickly she faded. Just found out there will be no services, but still may need to make a trip to Ohio.

Then... I get to work and start telling my supervisor the news so she is in the loop. She looked like she was already on the verge of tears... so I ask what was wrong. Last night one of the girls on the soccer team, an eight year old friend of her family, was struck by a car when crossing the street to get to the field. She was airlifted with a skull fracture and is currently in ICU in stable, serious condition. She's in a medically induced coma for now. Please pray for her.

It's one of those days that reminds me life is fragile. Hug those close to you and remember that we only have so many marbles left.

Thinking of you this morning, Christopher!

Wow...Very sorry for your loss, Don, and to hear about that little girl. Prayers for her recovery.

Makes me think of a Steve Jobs quote being thrown around in the last 24 hours..."If you live every day as if it will be your last, someday you will most certainly be right."

:thumbsup2Well, it looks like I have gotten myself into a situation!! Went to cardiologist today because of the persistant chest pressure. He said he wanted to do a heart chat...I was like ok...and pulled out my work schedule to see when I could fit it in :rotfl2:..He then looked at me and said....I am going to do it tomorrow ....So I am headed to work this evening and on call until 7am and then I am going to get things fixed and checked...so cross your fingers and say a prayer!!

prayers and good luck tomorrow steve on your test! :thumbsup2 to answer your question, yes we are. my battery went dead on my phone. im all charged up now.

I know this completely goes against everything this club stands for, but I would like to propose the idea that nobody post any pictures of bacon or princesses until Steve gets done with his cardiologist tomorrow.

Don, sorry to hear about your loss. Prying for the little girl. Keep us posted.

Steve, good luck on the test.

Andy, sorry to hear about the little one. I hated it when mine got sick and there was little to do except ride it out.

Just got back from the Keys. Only one dive yesterday and the camera was acting up so I have to be satisfied with the pics and video I took over the weekend. Good time was had by all.

Can someone post pictures of beer or hot girls? Or, hot girls drinking beer with a picture of bacon black stripped out?
