Sounds great.

Anyone been to Paradiso 37 in DTD? If so, what were your thoughts on it.

We tried it this past summer and thought it was pretty good. I don’t remember what everyone had, but I had fish tacos and thought they were quite good. We also sat outside on the porch and enjoyed some excellent live music. All in all… I’d consider it again.

What a great day! Have a great afternoon!

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Sorry to, humm, hear that James. Reminds me of the last time I broke my leg. I had an external fixture on it and when I would roll over and drag it across my other leg, well, talk about a awake up call.

Ouch... glad you didn't tear it open too bad though.

I had surgery to repair a ruptured achilles a few years ago and they put in a nerve block on the back of my left thigh. I must have rolled over in my sleep that first night because I woke up in excruciating pain. I'd pulled that thing loose and I hadn't been taking any painkillers up to that point.:headache::scared1: It's hard to make a conscious effort to avoid that stuff when you're not conscious.:rotfl2: Good luck with the doc!

Glad to hear that not too much damage was done. Normal sleep after surgery is always tricky.

Having snapped an achilles recently, I can empathizes with that one.
That morning must have been… shall we say… exciting?

Ouch! Not a good start for the day when you wake up bloody.

After my dad had shoulder surgery they told him to wear sleep pants to bed and put a tennis ball in the pocket of the side he had surgery on to wake him up if he rolled that way.HOPE THAT HELPS! I know, I know:lmao:

Hope too much damage wasn't done.

Thanks for the sympathy guys. I saw the doc last night and he said it looks like it's healing well. He also told me that everything I am feeling (or not feeling, since the top half of my ear is entirely numb) is par for the course at this point in the recovery.

He was disappointed that I wasn't doing a better job of cleaning around my ear. I told him that he told me not to touch it too much and to just dab it now and then. He swears he told me to clean it. I don't know. :confused3 I suggested that the next time he gives instructions to someone less than 24 hours after he and his anaesthesia buddy have drugged him up, knocked him out, and opened his head and screwed around with it... maybe he should write it down! :rotfl2:

Next appointment in two weeks.

In a related note, I once had a partial tear of my achilles. It happened at MK. I was doing the College Program. I worked MK custodial and it was my day to shadow the road crew. I was riding along and we stopped backstage behind POTC and as I jumped out of the pickup, I felt the shooting pain in my heel. I couldn't walk and when my shift ended, I was taken to a "walk-in" clinic :rotfl2: I was on crutches the next 2 weeks while it healed. A month later I would have knee surgery there as well for torn cartilage (an injury I sustained before going down there.) I spent nearly 2 whole months of my semester working there on crutches! It was still a great time though.

I am sitting on campus waiting for the Director (Dept Dean in waiting). I had an earlier project meeting today and have 30 more minutes to wait. I am enjoying the view on campus today, and don't remember girls wearing their tops so low cut when I was in school - not that I'm complaining. I would post pictures but am nervous enough. I'll either get fired, get a raise, or get more work assigned. I'm not liking my odds.

Was there a while ago when they first opened. Thought it was good. Had a steak, pork and chicken taco sampler. If you are into tequila this place has a bunch to choose from. They also advertise the coldest beer around.

I just looked at one of my TRs and I have a couple of pics and a short description of what we had. If you go the link below and scroll down a bit you can find it.

I'm considering Via Napoli for our EPCOT dinner on Thursday. How does that work with DDP when it comes to ordering pizzas. I see they have different sizes. I'm assuming you would have to order the individual size?

You can buy individual pizzas, or they'll charge you 2-3 adult TS meal credits per medium or large pizza, depending on the size. Makes it much easier to share. But, it may be easier just to order a la cart at Via Napoli.

Thanks Rob, I was hoping so. I want to take DW there before our cruise in March. Want to ride the balloon too.

Thanks CJ, that was a great review. I sent the link to DW, I hope she likes it too. When I asked her where she wanted to go, she said House of Blues, as if!
