:lmao: looking into it, (orange cty website) the permits are for construction trailers in the area of the gf.:lmao: so i guess, i could make the leap like someone else did that it is dvc moving in on the gf!:lmao: there saying it would be a small building like the wilderness dvc. like i said, i dont believe anything to the dirt starts moving.(ok, more like sand but you know what i mean,):lmao:

The phrase "pulling permits" usually refers to the permits actually being issued. Generally speaking, permit requests are filed well in advance of the permits actually being issued (to allow for time to determine that any prerequisites for the permits being issued have been met). Actually issuing the permits is then referred to as pulling the permits.

So what Dave was saying is that the permits to allowing construction to commence have actually been issued.

GF DVC would be cool. I think we're going to buy into BLT soon, I love that place, but I'd def trade into GF once or twice if available...

Sorry for the misunderstanding :confused3

Related QSDP question - if I book through the DTA site, but only choose 1-day tickets (so that I get the QSDP) but buy other tickets with UT for the remaining 8-days, does the QSDP match our room reservation or only on the tickets? I ask because I've heard of people doing this same thing and the tickets always line up with the room reservation, not the tickets, but I want to verify. That will save $250 if it works.

It is definitely by number of NIGHTS you stay.

Now further clearification. You said you will buy from UT for the remaining 8 days. Do you intend to go 9 days?
1 from he QSDP ticket and 8 from UT?

If so BAD IDEA. You can use all 9 from the UT ticket and only pay $5.00 more to go from 8 days to 9 days, instead of using your 1 day at $82.00.

In this case you DO NOT USE your 1 day ticket at all, and save it (even on the room card). It will NEVER expire, and is fully upgradeable in the future.

OK so I posted on another thread and was told to come here to get a memeber number from Emma's Dad. I don't quite know much about how to use thread but I like the idea sharing. Especially since I have only been to Disney once yet plan to take my kids as much as possible.

So...um... trip planned for end of Sept 2011. Family consists of ME, DW (not sure what that means but I see everyone use it and assumed it stood for wife), son (9) and 2 daughters (7&3).

I have much to learn I know but I look forward to getting to make some new friends and gleaning off everyone's experiences. I can post pre-trip planning soon.

:welcome: to the DISdads forum. Make your self at home, pull up a chair, grab a beer from the fridge while your DW (Dear Wife or Disney Wife) puts the kids to bed. :)

First I've seen of this, but I see the DADS are all over it.

I put out the motion to bring it into our NEW home.

A DISDADS Caption Contest Thread.

Maybe someone with experience in that thread can start it here?

Second the motion anyone?

Top of the morning gents :surfweb:

Anyone ever purchased their WDW tickets from a broker like undercover tourist?

We have used Undercover Tourist for the past few times we needed to purshace tickets. We usually get 10 day non expiration tickets...they last us a few years ...UT is great to deal with. Never had any issues with them!

:lmao: I didn't think anyone was still following.

Actually I checked it out the other day just to make sure you hadn't finished it when I wasn't looking...

Where that picture of the kids on an empty Main Street? I love that pic...wish I could catch a similar one.

First you've heard of it...guess I know whos posts you ignore...big icon and everything in my signiture. :sad1:

We have several non-DDC members in that thread/contest to move it here...plus it has help to recruited some good members.

Your welcome to start one...just make sure you put Disdads somewhere in the title...or we will be invaded by non-dads.

Trying to convence DW that I need to book a WDW research trip. :thumbsup2

...or a DCL research trip. :thumbsup2

All for my "new" part-time career...of course. :lmao:

That's a tax deductible business trip, right?
I am not a lawyer and don't play one on TV so that is not legal advice. Please overlook me IRS.

:confused3 hmmm how about that Aaron? our resident Gov't issued Law-man?

What's up fellas! Busy time for me at work.. I feel like I have no time to do anything. I did catch up on the days posts....

I use UT all the time. They also helped me out of a jam when I left the tickets home- I was sitting on the plane when I realized it. They faxed the ticket information to customer relations outside of MK and I was re-issued the tickets.

Just makin' a little lunch for DS4 and I.

I'm glad you brought this up... this is a great point and what we did when had added the dining plan. We saved our 1 day tickets for use at a later time.

UT is great! ::yes::

With regular shipping, I usually have my tickets in hand 5 days after I order.
