Hey David... this is the first year where we did not purchase our tickets from Disney. We ended up using UT to purchase 4 day hopper tickets. They are awesome! Not only do they have a good price (lowest I could find) , they shipped them out very quickly. ALSO... once we got to our resort (BWV) the concierge was able to take the unused tickets and simply add them to the KTTW... so no worrying about keeping the tickets safe while you're on the go.

Hope this helps!
Don

Don,

So they can add the tickets (days we purchase) to our keys just as if we had purchased them directly from Disney?

Congratulations Stopher!

Congratulations stopher! I'm glad to see you getting some good news (finally)!

Congrats my friend :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2<<<lots o thumbs

Thanks guys. It was difficult but fun to work through the required project, but I'm so happy it is completed and I've now been able to actually wear my beads for the first time. I was humbled and honored last night to receive a standing o from the assembly of Scouts, Scouters and parents. I was moved to tears a couple of times by some of the very kind words said during the comments part of the ceremony.

Top of the morning gents :surfweb:

Anyone ever purchased their WDW tickets from a broker like undercover tourist?

Big fan of Undercover Tourist; used them for both WDW and Universal tix past several trips. You save some $ as they don't charge shipping. Very prompt; tix arrive sealed individually in a plastic sleeve. Be sure to turn tix over and confirm on back correct days/hoppers/extras before you break the seal on plastic. You get the actual, real tickets you would from WDW or Universal (no vouchers); all my orders have been perfect.

Oops, sorry, I sound like a commercial. Honestly, I don't work for or know anyone at the company; just a good purchasing experience with them over past 4 years. :thumbsup2

We too have used UT in the past, and were very impressed with their service. Quick, easy to work with and fast turnaround.

The tickets can indeed to be added to your KTTW cards - you'll just need to walk over to the concierge desk after checking in to have that done for you. It'll take maybe 5 minutes - pretty painless actually.

Crikey...the "Last Person to post is winner" thread has apparently been invaded by some Aussie Shelas...

Very true. Though several of the threads have been "infiltrated".... that comes from not including any kind of DIS DADS info at the beginning of the individual thread titles.

Even though we have our own sub-forum now... the threads do show up on the "For Families" header - and if it doesn't say DIS DADS in some fashion (as that one doesn't) - it will "invite" anyone else to jump in and have some fun.

CONGRATS STOPHER!!!!
well the tornado lastnight missed me by about 4 miles. living in the notheast, we are not use to this stuff,or know what to look for. i was sitting her on the dis and all of a sudden the fire whistle started blowing. i looked up and the south west was black. there was a faint humming noise, almost like thunder that didnt stop. my wife was a baseball game and a girl she was with, husband called who lives in that direction and they were in the basement!!! he wasnt sure what it was but it was loud and started to swirl. the tornado went buy them in about 1/2 mile and moved on to the east toward nj. i never seen anything like that before.

Thanks Dave.

Very glad to see you were spared and ok. These storms are nasty and causing so much destruction.

Don't mess around guys - if something is coming your way, do what you need to do to take cover.

:sad2:
Seriously, we sweep the Cards, then get swept by the frickin' Pirates and Indians and now have to face the most Beverly ridiculous pitching rotation ever assembled to try to break this skid. Not a good week.

Watch out for the Indians, they have the best record in MLB.

I am thankful that the Rangers are in first place in their division. They don't have a great record, but the AL West is playing poorly as a whole this year (thank goodness for us Rangers fans.) I was happy to pull out a win against the Phillies this weekend. All games were close - no blowouts.

I was getting tired and knowing I would be working late the next night, I turned off the Mavericks game and went to bed. At the time, the Mavericks were down by 15 points with 5 minutes left in the game. :headache: I had expected the Mavs to lose that game. When I woke up this morning, I pulled up espn.com to see what the final score was. I had to do a double take. :scared1:

I am listening to sports radio today while working, reliving the dramatic comeback. What a time to turn off the game. It sounds like the Mavs 'turned it on' when I turned them off. :happytv::lmao:

I didn't see it, but the highlights are quite impressive... O-K-C is D-U-N...

you know I wonder.. go ahead and call me crazy.. but the earthquake in japan has made the earth spin a little faster than 11,000 miles per hour shortening our day by .00043 seconds.. but I wonder if that also has messed up the balance of weather. think I am nuttier than JIFF crunchy PEANUT BUTTER? should I just go to the cool station and drink a gallon of beverly?

on a lighter note I just found out that my building exterminator is a Disney fan and just returned from a cruise on the "Dream" going to get him to join disdads! here is a pre-disdad meet pic

Related QSDP question - if I book through the DTA site, but only choose 1-day tickets (so that I get the QSDP) but buy other tickets with UT for the remaining 8-days, does the QSDP match our room reservation or only on the tickets? I ask because I've heard of people doing this same thing and the tickets always line up with the room reservation, not the tickets, but I want to verify. That will save $250 if it works.

That's a very good question. I would imagine the QSDP would line up with the reservation, since it is based on the length of stay not number of park days on a ticket. Now I need to do a bit of research. Hmm.

ALL dining plans are base on # of night stay...and you must have at least 1 Day ticket as well...not sure why that is...but it is.

So I believe your plan would/will work Ian. :thumbsup2

Oh and Nemisis...congrats on your Wood Badge.

You sly ol' Fox.

Curse you Stopher the Fox!!! <---I like it!
