Okay, remember what I said about this being a good day? I should have kept my mouth shut...little did I know about the horror that awaited me.

I walked into the restroom and discovered that someone had...replaced the toilet paper and paper towel the WRONG WAY!!!


I feel all out of sorts now...like I walked into some sort of Bizarro World. Nothing makes any sense...up is down, left is right, dogs and cats living together, MASS HYSTERIA!!!!!!


I need to lie down now....

The insanity.

Went to the Mavericks game last night. Wow, what a game for Dirk Nowitski. I was still not feeling good (upper respiratory infection), but there was no way I was going to miss the game.

This was DS first time to see a Mavericks basketball game. He may be jaded now and anything less that the Western Conference Finals could be a let down.

Jealous. Dirk had a great game. Glad you got to see that one.

Speaking of which, we have a thread here on this forum that is nothing but closing that thread, it's been running for about a week and it's only on page 25. You'd think that it was a DisMoms thread.

At least you're not in Korea, where it's very uncommon to find TP in a public restroom (most businesses will have a roll or two in the office, and many restaurants, especially mom & pop-style, will have rolls at/near the tables...doubles as tissues/napkins)...

You laugh, but I was soooooo lucky to have found as many western toilets as I did when I got the flu while visiting Katoot when he was in Japan. Also lucky I knew about the toilet paper thing (which is also true in Japan), and brought along an emergency travel alternative.

You ever have to wipe with kleenex? Not something I recommend.

One of the best things I like about my job is the fact that the stall in the bathroom has two rolls - one that goes over the top, one that goes underneath. Everyone wins!

Children home from school with no homework and list of field trips. They already have completed their testing for year. Making up those days missed is stupid when they aren't teaching them anything, but it serves as free childcare for now.
