actually, i disagree that this thread needs to be sticky'ed. gets plenty of traffic, and eventually will be locked and we move onto yet another posting. :confused3

I do think that the TR, meets, dvc, DL, intro and Disdad DisABLITIES should be sticky'ed. ::yes::

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

And the Turkey Lurkey is Awesome thread...you forgot that one. :thumbsup2

Good morning gents! This will be my last post for about a week. When I get home I will be cutting the grass and then loading the van for the World. We plan on leaving at dark thirty so I have to get to bed early.

Barry - don't stink up the new place too bad :lmao:

Andy - don't let my nemesis spread his Kentucky germs all over the new furniture :rotfl2:

FED - I have the chrome polish for your boat spinners and the "special" bait you requested in return for my special escort across the great state of GA!!

Have a Magical week fella's and I will talk to you real soon.

:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Have an awesome trip!

Fella's don't forget...today is TOP GUN Day! Go to the site and get your call sign, mine is 'Hook' and here are just a few things you need to do today.

Use as many Top Gun lines throughout the day as possible. For example, say your friend Jim asks you what you’re doing on Friday night, you should respond: “Hey Jim, you stink”.

Wear aviator sunglasses. Cheap or expensive. Inside or out. Just don’t “Scratch one”!

Go to a bar…wearing a flight suit or aviator wings and order a glass of Hemlock.

Call your friends and tell them, “I’m going to Top Gun!” and then hangup.

Buy some rubber dog beverly.

Don’t wear deodorant and only respond to the name, Slider.

I am 'Shadow'.

Greetings! With this thread, I have found a group that I would really like to join!

My wife has finally acknowledged that I am not fun or happy unless we have the next WDW trip "on the books." (Yeah, DL and DCL also qualify, but WDW is the "home" base)

I meet criteria #1, 2, 4, 8 (BIGTIME), 10, 12 (no kidding), 13, 15 (though mainly my own photos), 20,

alright I just thought about what I was doing and realized that I am a doorknob for making people jump back to page 1 just to see what the heck I am talking about.

Anyway, I'm sure that I am like many of you . . . friends and family text me from the parks to ask what the "backup" plan should be in a rainstorm or heavy crowds. People I know ask me first before making their ADRs, that kind of thing.

I would like to join in the conversation with some like-minded Dads . . .

We don't get down as much as I'd like, but we try to do one family trip a year and one "adults only" trip a year. We started bringing each kid (I have a 12 year old stepson and a 7 year old daughter) when they turned 4, and they can't wait to go again.

I'm particularly into the vintage things - I'm really loving the 40th anniversary stuff. I had the Disney World lunchbox that I carried to school in 1975. And forget Horizons, I'm nostalgic for Communicore!

Have a great weekend!

Welcome!

I think the Princess pic thread is sticky enough, thank you. :thumbsup2

Boss stopped by my cube and gave me 2 tickets to the Dallas Mavericks playoffs - Round 3, Home Game 1 - lower bowl. Sweet! Called DS and he is ecstatic! Depending on who wins the OKC/Memphis series, we will be going either Sunday or Tuesday.

:cheer2:

GO MAVS!

I think it's spelled this way...

That's awesome! The Mavs are on a roll right now. I'd love to see them pull it off now that the Celtics are on summer break due to old age. Have a blast at the game!

Man it’s been one bloody long week. I hate month-end processing (it’s seriously interfering with my Dis time).

Communicore!

You might be near as old as I am (and that’s pretty dang old)

“Duke” checking in…

Regular movie quotes… Check
Aviator Glasses… Check (been wearing them regularly for decades now)
Go to Bar… Not tonight (family before booze)

I don't have any quotes but I do have this: A photo of my son (on the right) and a couple of his Blue Angels buddies at the place where the sleazy bar scene was filmed in San Diego.

Let us all defer to the pros. Awesome Pic!

Nice. Never been on a Disney cruise, but hear they're a blast. Where are you cruising to?

Bahamas. The Dream took over the shorter routes that the Wonder was doing. Mostly three & four Day trips. Every once and a while though, they’ll sail for five days. We picked up one of those itineraries. She’ll sail from Canaveral to Castaway Cay the first day. On to Nassau, and then a full day cruising the waters. Then... Back to Castaway for a “Double Dip” (a definite prize as far as were concerned), and then back to Canaveral the next day. Once we get back on land, we’re also heading over to WDW to spend a couple of days at the Wilderness Lodge. Really looking forward to getting down there.

Is there an emoticon for "Jealous as Beverly"? :scared1: That sounds awesome! I'd love to try that out someday.

That sounds like a really awesome trip. The 5 day double dip is the ticket. I wish that we could have done longer than the 3 night cruise we did. There was way more stuff to do than there was time to do it and we didn't even do any of the excursions.

I hope you get the opportunity. But be warned…
Cruising is addictive.

Our first DCL cruise was a three-day as well. After the first day, we all wanted to stay aboard perpetually if possible. Actually the weather kept us off of Castaway Cay that time (which was disappointing to be sure), but we still had the most amazing time imaginable. Or second trip was for seven days. Longer is better if you can swing it. We’re doing the five day as a medium between the two and because it’s that only way I can get aboard the Dream at this time. When they commission the Fantasy, she will be doing the longer Caribbean routes (which means I know what I’m doing in 2013 if I can figure out how to pull it off)

I agree with Rob that DCL is addictive. We did our first one last March. it was a 7 day Western Carribean. Our day at CC was canceled due to rough weather and not being able to dock so that was a disappointment. Now, we have to wait until next June and do an Eastern on the new Fantasy. You just can't say enough good things aobut a Disney cruise. Hands down the best in the business...they know how to treat a guest!:thumbsup2

One of my friends said I really need to watch that new show Swamp People:confused3 Has anyone ever seen it:confused3
