WHew! What a crazy week this has been. Just popping in to say hey to everyone. Friday's are ALWAYS super busy, and today is no exception .

To the FJ Dads... I'm one of you now. I got my info from Susanne on Tuesday and have been diligently working through the coursework each night. Tonight will be the basic WDW component... so far I've done the DL and DCL components. Dude I want those ears!

To the stats on this thread... I'm behind, because I've been busy with other stuff this week. But that's okay... others can share in the fun of being # 1 this time. ONe thing I've been spending a lot of time on is getting the ALL ABOUT DISNEYLAND thread populated. It's slow going, but it's getting there.

I would like to make a suggestion though - for all of the nice shiny threads that have been added to this nice new home... since we are just a sub-forum of the Families Forum... and anyone can still see the stuff as it pops up - please be sure to include DIS Dads in the name of your thread. Any new ones should be identified that way - and if you started one but didn't do that - please go back and edit your thread name. It's a great way for us to keep our threads easily identified - and focused on having the guys come around (and not the ladies, with the exception of our wonderful Webmaster Kathy).

I've also been thinking about which threads we need to request to be made a sticky... this is definitely one of them. I would also propose the TR Links thread, the Meets thread, the Princess Pics thread, the DVC and Disneyland threads, and the Allow me to Introduce Myself thread... any others that you would like to see "sticky-ied"?

Alright - that's it for now. Have a couple things to finish before leaving the office, then have to race to Costco, and off to a administer a pre-camp swim test for the Scouts tonight. My DW and DD are off to a camporee this weekend with AHG, and my sons are off to a high school event a church... crazy busy on the homefront just as it has been on the work front. I'll check in again tonight or this weekend.

I don't have any quotes but I do have this: A photo of my son (on the right) and a couple of his Blue Angels buddies at the place where the sleazy bar scene was filmed in San Diego.

I would also propose the TR Links thread, the Meets thread, the Princess Pics thread, the DVC and Disneyland threads, and the Allow me to Introduce Myself thread... any others that you would like to see "sticky-ied"?

This evening I went into the Polish equivalent of SuperWalmart and watched a man in a Wizard suite yell in polish about discount toys. At least I'm assuming thats what he was doing. I picked up the word "Lego"

Welcome to the club! We've now had two Sconnies join in the past few weeks. And thank goodness - that was a lot of pressure trying to uphold the values of the great state of Wisconsin by myself! (You know, cheese jokes, cow jokes, brat jokes, etc)

A similar thing happens to me. Folks trend to want to call me "Craig" instead of Greg. All of the gifts at my DW's wedding shower were addressed to Joanie and Craig. Not only do we Cajuns speak with an accent but we listen with one too.

I don't get paid for that, I was just exploring the city in some free time before my flight tomorrow.

That's....not quite as awesome. But still kind of awesome in it's own little way.

Before that I found myself staring at the lawnmowers they were selling. Not sure why though.

I did manage to have some Kielbasa soup. Ordering when you can't read the menu and the waiter doesn't speak english is lots of fun.

actually, i disagree that this thread needs to be sticky'ed. gets plenty of traffic, and eventually will be locked and we move onto yet another posting.

I do think that the TR, meets, dvc, DL, intro and Disdad DisABLITIES should be sticky'ed.

I'm just happy I didn't get Princess Puffy Pants
