Well, I haven't had time to post the results for a while, but here is how the league is shaping up at the Mid-Point in the season:

Mickey__________________________W-L-T__Pct_______GB
Splash Mountaineers_______________ 61-33-6 .640_______-
The Hittin' Mickeys________________ 58-34-8 .620_______ 2
Goofy Hustle______________________36-57-7 .395_______24.5
Tiger Town Tiggers_________________34-59-7 .375______ 26.5
Tronorails_________________________29-64-7 .325_______31.5

Goofy
PhineastoEzratoGus_________________62-29-9 .665_______-
The Incredibles____________________56-39-5 .585 _______8
The Yak 'n' Yankees________________55-39-6 .580________8.5
The Sorcerer's Bat_________________39-54-7 .425________24
Winnie The Pujols__________________34-58-8 .380________28.5

Donald
Baloo's Cubs______________________57-36-7 .605 ________-
Epic Phillie________________________47-48-5 .495 ________11
JUNGLE (Nelson) CRUZ______________45-50-5 .475_________13
Goofy Gray Sox____________________41-54-5 .435_________17

The Mickey Division is a tight 2-team race between these long time nemeses who both have strong lineups and should battle all year and both should end up in their "Laughing Place" aka the Playoffs.

The Goofy Division is shaping up as a 3-team race where any of those team cans take the lead with a big week.

Baloo's Cubs have taken control of the Donald Division for now as the only team above .500, but a good couple of weeks from any of the other 3 teams could turn that division around before Baloo wakes up from his nap.

Well done! :-):rotfl2:

Hellooooo everyone. I'm relatively new around here and thought I would join the party, if you'll have me. I've been lurking on the forums for a while now and thought I would step up and say hey.

We are planning our first family trip Dec 4-11 and we are very much looking forward to it. Both the wife and I have been to WDW a handful of times each but this will be the first for my sons.

I've come to the conclusion that there just isn't time enough in the day to keep up with every thread on the various boards. There are a TON of people here with some seriously substantial experience at all things Disney. It's become my go to source of up-to-date information as well as some laughs.

So with that said, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintances and I look forward to sharing and learning over these coming days and weeks.

Good to have you aboard. Lived in OH for 9 years and heading south. Maybe by the time I reach retirement age I will be at the happiest place on earth!

Ohio wasn't the happiest place on earth for you?

West Virginia is "Almost Heaven" so that makes us in Ohio IN heaven!:dance3:

Actually OH was pretty good but my job was eliminated. The wife and DS and DD are spending the summer at our "vacation" home there since we couldn't sell it when I got the new job. It has central air unlike the place we are renting here.

Just to clearify - I may be knitpicking here... But Disney World in fact is NOT the Happiest Place on Earth.

Dinseyland is "The Happiest Place on Earth"

Disney World is "The Most Magical Place on Earth"

From what I've seen of California's budget situation nobody is happy there and it will be magic if I can ever afford to retire around Orlando :rotfl2:

Powder. Link

Mixing bowl with water...also need some sort of soft serve machine...I got one here...Link

Thanks, Nate. I was going to post this later after I tried it out to make sure it worked ok. Sounds like you've beaten me to it!

Have not tried milk...the H2O method can leave the mix a little runny...I tried reducing the amount of water once...but mixture was a little like a marshmallow then. I would try the milk method if I were you...or maybe 50-50 milk water?

PS...don't mix allot and forget about it...gets nasty after about 2 weeks.

We're trying milk tonight. I'll come back with a report later! :thumbsup2

Oh, and uh, thanks for the tip.

Dang... not sure I can justify dropping that cash on a soft serve ice cream maker. Anybody tried making that mix in a homemade ice cream maker?

That's what we have. We watched a youtube video where the lady who tried it had the same model. Seemed to turn out ok. I'll let you know!

I got a really weird message from Christopher.

I am not sure if it came via the DISboards, or Facebook, but it was definitley one of them, as it came from his e-mail address, to my e-mail address (and I have never given it out). I have PM'ed him a few times, but that's about the extent of it.

Anyways here's the message cut and pasted - not edited at all:

I'm writing this with tears in my eyes,my family and I came down here to London,England for a short vacation unfortunately we were mugged at the park of the hotel where we stayed, all cash, credit card and cellphones were stolen off us but luckily for us we still have our passports with us.We've been to the embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and our flight leaves in few hrs from now but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills.please your urgent help is required.

Chris.

I thought that was extremely odd, as why would he reach out to ME? And I know (as we all know) he is in California now tending to his family in their time of loss. So I got a bit suspicious.

I Googled the first line, and sure enough found that it is a bogus message.

Has anyone else seen this?
I wonder if he has a virus or worm scouring his contacts and sending out false alerts.

It could be a virus or perhaps one of his accounts was hijacked. Other methods including using an e-mail address (from FB or other location) and adding a _ to it that no one notices. It usually will be followed by a request to Western Union the money.

I got the same message from him. His email got hacked. I checked in with him and he knows about it, so he's working on changing passwords, etc.

Yeah I got it a few days back and dropped him a PM about it. I have had the same "message" from like four different people over the last couple of years.

This happened to my brother in law, I got the same email from him. What I guess happens is that "they" (scumbags) get you to sign up for some giveaway/prize/etc... using an email address for your name and a made-up password to their "site" (or whatever). They then go to your email address and try the password you created for their "site" to take over your account and email this to all your contacts. They're banking on the fact that a lot of people use the same password for everything. He had to have hotmail reset his account and password... Another reason to always have separate passwords for everything...

Just curious...are any of you guys also members of the Masonic Lodge? Just curious...I served as Master of our Lodge here in 2005 and just wondered if any of us were fraternal Brothers also.:worship:

I've always been curious about the FreeMasons, but could never really find any info on what it is all about:confused3 There is a Lodge in the next town

Should I be insulted that you're having a hard time choosing between an event you care nothing about and being in Delaware? :confused3 :rotfl:

I'd sell the tickets, get the cash, drink the booze, have a shorter drive. Win-Win-Win-Win!

Hmmm...hard choice to make there....sometimes the best sporting events are ones where you don't care which team wins. On the other hand....$200. Did I mention I'm a GREEDY unpatriotic Canadian?:lmao:

Tickets have been sold (just waiting for the cash) it's off to party in Del:woohoo::goodvibes Funny it was 4 girls (21-24) that wanted them the most:lmao:
