I'm the last person you should ask about how to s-p-l anything.

:lmao: ask me, not only am i a good speller i also can butcher the english language as well as anyone.:lmao: (see):lmao: my 8th grade teacher told me that one day. i have never seen the english language butchered as well as you can do it.:lmao: i guess i should of stayed in catholic school.:lmao: i was just a lad and to make a long story short, the nun sent me over to the church and i had to kneel all day at the alter. she didnt find me funny.:lmao:i cant repeat what i said here.:lmao: annnyway, the next day she asked me, "so mr. zerfass, what did you learn yesterday?" i said, " nothin, you made me kneel infront of that statue all day." she grabbed me by my ear and dragged my little butt back over.:lmao: kids now days have no idea how good they have it.:lmao:

This show is pretty amazing. I have a season pass on my Tivo to record anything with "Disney" in the title or description, so we've been watching these. The transformations are amazing, I'm a little surprised they can do a show about it. How could a family do this themselves?! :confused3

Did anyone see the Kitchen Impossible on over the weekend at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival? Robert Irvine was in rare form! :lmao:

I saw it too. As soon as they installed those spraying elephants, I turned to DW and said: "That may look like water spraying from the elephant's trunk, but I can assure you it's not." ("assure you it's snot")

Yes, I used a Jungle Cruise pun on an Animal Kingdom-type attraction. Everybody now....

He's a tour guide on the Jungle Cruise Ride...Skipper Berry :cutie: is his name...He does 44 shows everyday...And everytime it's the same...

I love that song. (Thank you Weird Al.)

Good afternoon. Thinking about picking up another point and shoot camera for myself so if DW and I are split up we each have something to capture the magic with. Anyone have suggestions? Mostly looking for something I can carry in my pocket that might take good firework pix and has a decent image stabilizer as my hands aren't always so steady.

Is that all it takes? I need to get started on my backyard monorail.

Today went about as expected...boss was pretty PO'd at me because I've basicly called him out on the BS, and dragged his boss into it. Next few days will be fun fun fun....let's see what happens.

As do I. It's like a milestone to come to these threads and see the number "99" in your counter. Not quite like coming on and seeing the number 4, but going under triple digits is always a big deal for me.

I envy your 4 right now...I need to get away somewhere a lot more magical then here. DW and kids need it too, we are all about to crack. I fall to single digits just after comming off my second week of vacation for the year.

Gentlemen-

My wonderful wife informed me about this forum and I would really like to join the DisDad group.

My name is Dan and I currently work as a Deputy Fire Marshall (glorified fire inspector) for the Bluffton Township Fire District in beautiful South Carolina. Bluffton is located just before you get to Hilton Head Island. Our next Disney trip will be here in the next month or so so that my wife can see Wishes one last time before they change the show. We have two boys, 6 (almost 7) and 4. We will be taking a longer trip to WDW at the end of October/beginning of November with my mom and my wife's mom and step-dad. Should be interesting.

I look forward to interacting with the other dads out there and hopefully make some new friends!

Welcome!

Hey there guys.

Just getting back in the swing here. I was in Boston yesterday and today for work and last night was free... Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals only 4 blocks from my hotel room and... cheapest ticket I could find was $1000.00. :headache:

So I watched the first period from Kingfish Hall (Todd English restaurant) with a co-worker. I figured if we weren't going to be able to go to the game, at least we're having a nice dinner. Then watched period 2 & 3 from the hotel room. After the game, I opened my balcony door and watched the fans pour out of the Garden.

Looks like its been busy here with new faces. Welcome newbies... Hopefully the regulars have properly initiated you.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Does anyone know if they are offering pavers that you can get your name on, or something similiar:confused3

Yes, but tickets that expensive, need a high profile client attached to the receipt. No client, no Tix. :sad1:

Now, I already have a client lined up for Cubs World Series Tix and I'm sure he'll need to have a formal escort at the game. :rolleyes1 I just have to wait for the Cubs to actually GET to the World Series. :rotfl2:

Hello everyone!! Just returned from the world! Between my DD16 and I we have amassed 2390 pics:scared1: with that said I would like to buy a new or used DSLR but not $2000! There are soo many options, so many opinions, and so many cameras out there...it's actually scary! Anyone have a real opinion with experience on a good DSLR? I would be using for vacations, outings, and general use. I am a fan of natural lighting and would like pics that aren't blurry in low light situations.. I want to be able to finally photograph things like splash mountain without praying that I will be able to see briar rabbit! Looking at spending around $600.

If any of you are planning an upgrade and have a DSLR you want to sell.. Just PM me.
:thumbsup2
