A question for you dads. What is the Disney store near you like?

The store by our house in NC is just a typical mall store. They have a big screen in the back where the play movies, but other than 1 or 2 display cases and the front windows the store really isn't themed that well.

I just perused a store here in London and was really impressed. The store was themed throughout. For example You walked through a 3 dimensional castle facade to walk onto the downstairs floor. They also had an area set up with a table and a screen where a CM reading a story to a group of kids while they colored. Do your Disney stores have this type of stuff? I wonder if its a concept they are going to roll out more widely.

ours is like a mall store and most of it is a big toy store and little kids clothes.

It's been a crazy few days. My DW left for CA on Monday to spend time with her dad. This morning I got word from CA that my grandmother is out of her suffering, and has left us. I'm waiting on word now regarding funeral arrangements. Thank you so much for the prayers over the past few months. I appreciate them and you.



I don't have the time to go back and check out what's been missed - so if you have had good things, I rejoice with you, if you have had bad things, I'm sad with you, if you need prayer, gladly, if you've just been shootin the breeze like most of the time - consider yourself breezed with some of my own mindless drivel for the day... if a dog farts in the woods, and the fish aren't biting, and your campfire won't light, but the Dole Whips - while ever tasty and good - missing from your day, it must be related to the fact that the sun came up in the west, and trennr is bored at work once again.

Cheers. Off to call my dad and see what he'll have to say about the plans for my grandmother's service.

I honestly had tears in my eyes watching that. I hadn't heard about him before, but then again, I don't watch Korea's Got Talent at all. However, the song he sang is very popular here. In fact, the foreign-looking judge (I believe she's half-Korean) directed a choir consisting of a few celebrities and normal people. They sang this song in a competition and got, if I remember correctly, third place. It's such an emotional song, that I got a little teary eyed then, but nothing compared to this. Thank you for posting this. I will definitely show it to my wife when she gets home from work and ask her about it.

you may want to bring your sun tan lotion if your gonna wait on i70. your gonna be there awhile! im going 78-81-77-26-95-4. if any dad wants to stand on the side of those interstates with a big sign, ill stop and pick you up!!!! we have a wide range of food in the back!!! bugals, cheese balls, oreos (never leave home without them!) 5 dif. types of chips, black,red and choc. lic. cheezits, slim jims (never leave home without them) and theres mores, thats just what i put in the snack box! drinks are coke(its the real thing), girls coke zero (why bother) water and turkey hill iced tea!!!! i tend to eat healthy!!!!
