doc, i dont see a summer trip ticker in your sig. yet?????:confused3

It's still under negotiation. We are flying to Fort Meyers to vist my dad from June 22-26th and may detour to Disney from the 26-29th (and do a Meet with the Freezin' Rafikis).

Believe it or not, doing a multi-destination flight from CT to Fort Meyers, then MCO to CT is actually $175 cheaper than a round trip to Fort Meyers. If we bite the bullet and get a season pass (which I will now that I realized the DVC member discount), with a cheaper off-site hotel (maybe the Nick Hotel again?), and car rental, it is actually <$900 for the trip. :thumbsup2

However, at this point, the biggest hurdle is getting the time off from work...

Question for Christopher, did your boss buy that Wood Badge training is advanced leadership training? I'm not looking to get them to pay for the training, but if I don't get docked vacation days for the training (that I've already committed to), then I can probably swing the Disney trip :cool1:

Yeah, my problem is that he's the manager... what do I do, tell him to do it himself? :confused3 I like getting paid so I deal with it, but it is annoying. At least people recognize it though. He's always referring everything to someone else, so I've been asked by customers and managers at other locations what he actually does.:lmao: They get it, so it is at least rewarding that my efforts are recognized by some.

I have one of those here too....we call him Captain Delegation! (insert trumpet sound here).

He's also known as Captain Exaggeration (insert trumpet sound here).

He's also the owner's son. :headache:

:lmao::rotfl2: Yep, sounds very similar. Only difference is that mine is just golfing buddies with the GM and President of the company. :rotfl:

He gets permission to take extra vacation every year... like 2 weeks extra. Nobody here even complains, we view it as our vacation too.

I'll let you in on a little Sys Admin inside knowlege. When you hear us muttering about a "picnic" we're not talking about about eating on a blanket outside.
Problem In Chair, Not In Computer.

We use PEBCAK (Problem Exists Between Chair And Keyboard), but I thin kI like PICNIC better... easier to sneak in without inviting questions. :rolleyes1

And the infamous ID - 10-T errors. :rotfl2:

*EDIT* I see I was late to the PEBCAK/PEBKAC party. :)

I would like to point out that he is no relation. :rotfl2:

Yikes!

So I'm looking at pictures of the players at the Masters in the Monday practice rounds, and realizing that I was standing there on the course at the Monday practice round a year ago. This year, I'm in my cube. I liked last year's location better. :headache:

I've tried about everything I can think of. I work in the basement of a solid concrete and steel building near the computer room. The only way we have signal here is by use of Verizon repeaters that are placed throughout the building which is great if you're on Verizon.

<-- not on Verizon

So there is an easy fix to your problem... :rotfl:

That means that I lose my awesome EVO and go back to a Beverlytastic iPhone and pay $100 more per month.

I'll stick with the EVO and rare signal. :)

I love my EVO...wife has the iPhone 4 with AT&T....I'm always teasing her saying mine is a better phone. In a lot of aspects it is!

Does anyone have any cool Disney SMS tones?

I've not rooted mine yet but I've not ruled it out either. Of course, I also just got a cheap 3500mAh battery - if it's any good I'll let you know.

I have Perry for my IM notifier, The Disdads intro for my ring, Monorail "Please stand clear" for email, and Transformers for my facebook notifier. ......one of these things is not the other!

My favorite is when they PRINT OUT an Email message from the list (usually on at least three pages of paper, due to the way Outlook formats things) and then put a sticky note on it that says something like, "Look into this" or "Do we have this issue?" :sad2:

To avoid confusion with an outdoor lunch, I ilke to refer to those as "PEBKAC" issues.

I so feel like you guys are talking about me :confused3 :headache:

Are you absolutely sure :lmao:

I know they're targeted for a younger audience...but has anyone ever read any of the Kingdom Keepers books?

Walt Disney just posted something on their facebook page that the author was at DTD today.

The new HTC ThunderBolt is 4G LTE, unless you live in an area that doesn't have the new 4G network in place. It is supposed to be like an EVO successor.

I am waiting for the new Droid Bionic or Droid X2.

Read the whole series. Had to pre-read before my oldest got a hold of them. Pre-read the first one and I was hooked......(no puns)

Looks like I'll have to pick them up before we leave for Florida. I should be able to knock them all out during the week I'm off!

Hopefully our Borders has them in stock.
