As someone who isn't a fan of any of the teams in the AFC North allow me to ask a simple question...

Weren't the Steelers 1-3 against teams from Ohio last year????

Well it looks like lightning does stike twice, Last night I was checking my lottery tickets from when we were in VA, seems like I had a really lucky Weds night.

For the 2nd year in a row, my trip has been paid for by the lottery

Thanks. We have tried to do less time but for the cost of flying from Nova Scotia, we try to make it 10 days at least. 6 years in a row and it just gets better.

Not sure how this quote thing is going to work as it is not my forte. I do better at planning and executing WDW trips.

Welcome to all the new dads that have joined since I have been here last.

I see we are throwing out a few tidbits about ourselves.Well there is nothing special about me.
I was born in Germany
Also played some brass in high school.
Married my high school sweet heart, my life ended at that point.
Just kidding about the life ending part,will be married 20 yrs this July.
Been going to Disney since it opened,now own Dvc @ SSR.

I have seen since I have been gone lots of good things have happened to some and a few bad things to others.To sum it up in a nut shell .Congrats to the good things and my thoughts are with the bad.

Got my new phone( evo) so with my 4g network I should be able to keep up with you guys easier.

Ron we still need to try to meet up at SP. Fed stay safe over there.Don Hope our new place will be opening soon.Steve hope you get yourself healed up Dec is coming fast. We live in Arizona and have been visiting DL and WDW for many years. Just last year my wife and I had our first trip alone to the parks in over 23 years...but our Children (the youngest is 17) still go with us most trips. This past May we initiated our new son-in-law into the Disney magic and I am pleased to report a new addict. My wife and I grew up in central Florida so we had many childhood and teenage (even courting) experiences at Disney...and of course honeymooned there.

What a great organization they are. We just had some close friends of ours who went on a week long adventure of WDW, US, and Sea World through the Give Kids The World and Make a Wish Foundation.

Also, a big thanks for all those guys out there letting me know there are more of us WDW fanatical dads than I thought. I had no idea there would be six pages of posts filled with so many of us. Thanks for the invite.

Our buddy chillcoupons set up our own page for them earlier in the spring, and together the DDC raised over a $1,000 for them. We'll be doing it again next year too!

Oh yeah - the Fanatic started the very first Dis Dad's Club back in November 2007 - and here we are more than 1,000 pages (and 4 threads) later... about to move into version 5! You're definitely in good company here.

The donation thread is still active. When I set it up I had to choose a duration and the shortest period was six months. It is a great cause but i didn't want to keep asking people to donate constantly so I made April the annual donation month. April is tax month so it may not be the best choice. Maybe we can move it to fall and do it again soon. Any thoughts?
