Oooooh...tough one. My kids aren't old enough for this battle yet.

I'd find it preferable to body piercings, I can tell you that. I guess if my kid wanted one, I'd ask for a good, reasonable explanation why.

Thanks Captain---actually I'm thinking for myself. Do you think it reflects badly as a father?

Speaking of ADR's, do you guys book the Fantasmic! Dinner Package to see it, or do you wing it to see it?
With 5 kids, all under 7, we're getting ressies so we don't have to have them stand in line for 2 hours.

Nashville Bass Pro Shops has 5 feet of water in it...

I'm holding a Memorial Service at 8...

:rotfl2:
This made me think of what my father would do in the event of a flood at Bass Pro Shop

To Tattoo or not Tattoo...That is the question:confused3
I have none myself, but overall, i'm pro Tattoo, mostly. When they're done right, (find a good artist), and it's something you won't tire of (my love of soccer may be transient), go for it.
Some folks with lots of tattoos say they use their fleeting tattoos as a journal of what their lives have been at different points along their lives. Just what I've heard.

No...or at least, I hope not....

i'd say if you had a tattoo of yourself smoking pot, that may be a bad reflection as a parent...:lmao:

Go for it! I'm thinking about pirate Mickey

HMMM it works for me. Just search Disney music on facebook and you should be able to find it. Or try Walt Disney Records.. that should get you there! :goodvibes

EDITED::::
I posted a link on the DIS Dad's facebook page. You should be able to use the link from there! :goodvibes

I looked in the comment section and found out it is available through their Twitter page as well. Thanks for the heads up:thumbsup2

Well, I'm at home (again) with the little guy.....

He spent all day yesterday lounging on the couch and snoozing... Today it looks like more of the same.

How do you know when your two year old doesn't feel good??

In my case, he won't eat the Chocolate Chip cookie I got him after the doctor visit--just held onto it and stared off into space....

And he spends the whole day on the couch and hardly moves...:scared:

Waaaaaay out of character for him...usually he's a little dynamo:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Fed that is the worst. Seeing the little ones sick and them not being able to express themselves fully kills me. I hope your son is feeling better soon.

A buddy of mine and his brother started this website I thought I would pass it along to you. http://www.americanbassoutlet.com/

Not sure there's an easy answer for this one.

thats why i went with mickey mouse, after 40 years he will probley look like remy!!! purple, wrinkley.:lmao: thats why i put it on my leg, less of a chance of saggage.:lmao:

I called DVC Member services this morning at 9:00 ET. There were no 2 bedroom savanna or standard view rooms available at Animal Kingdom! :scared1: So I inquired about the Beach Club Villas - all gone! Wilderness Lodge Villas - some available, but not for every night:confused:. It looks like a busy December in WDW. :sad1:
I got on a wait list for a savanna view room at AKV. And at least we have the reservation at the Tree House Villas. :)

Found out yesterday I have pneumonia = week off from work, stay in bed, and take knock you on your butt meds. First 2 asspects sound like todays teen:lmao:

Yeah I guess hanging out in a freezer all day wouldn't exactly help your condition. Get some rest and take care:sick:

Morning... err, afternoon guys.

Well today was a crazy sort of day, even worse than trying to get those coveted ADR's for Cindy's Table... today was Summer Camp Reservation Day for 2011. I totally felt like a teenager again pulling an all-nighter, though I did "cheat" and take an extended nap last evening before getting up at 11:30 to leave the house by 12:15 am to get down to our Scout Center. I got there by 1 am, and thankfully was the first in line. Then the waiting began, as the doors didn't open til 6 am, and the staff didn't begin actually taking those reservations until 8:30 am. Talk about crazy, but I wasn't the only one. #2 arrived around 1:30ish, #3 around 2:15ish, #4 around 2:30, #5 around 3:00, #6 around 3:15 and on it went until there were about 25 us waiting at 6 am for the doors to open. More were there by the time they actually opened up the reservation process.

Taking such a large contingent of Scouts (75-85) and Adult leaders (20-25) we REALLY NEED to have a certain set of campsites (6 in all), and we really WANT our specific week (#3 out of 10). SO - you go early and sit/stand in line. Thankfully yesterday's rain had moved out of the area. Several of the leaders there had done this for 5- 10 years and others like me, it was their first time. But I'll be back next year and in years to come since that is my area of specialty within our Troop's leadership.

I thought of a lot of you though, as I sat there with my portable DVD player watching Monty Python & the Holy Grail.

I got back home again around 10 am after it was all said and done, and then pretty much went to take a nap. I was bleary-eyed and exhausted, but very happy to be able to get that coveted reservation - knowing the Troop is taken care of for one more year... kind of like those who get in to see Cindy at her table, or that F! Dinner Package, or even score tickets for MNSSHP on Halloween night. Now I just have some catching up to do with all of my various threads I follow. :rotfl:

Christopher, you are one dedicated Dis Dad!!

the first two weeks of december is the busiest for dvc but the parks arent to bad. the weekends get pretty busy but during the week its not to bad. its about the same as food and wine. even okw is filling up. they are selling contracts for okw so there are new people taking advantage of that also.

well, to try to keep dw spirits up, i have laid out our dvc trips thru 2020!!! dec 2010 10 nights at okw and june 2011 we will be at the contemp.for a week for dd h.s grad present. after that, she will be off to school and hopefully work and probley wont be going with us that much anymore so we wont be getting 2 bedroom units and we need to spend our points.(sorry barry, i found a way to spend them.:lmao:) so here is the plan, oct 2011 1 bedroom for 10 nights at okw.than starting in 2012, we will start going in january for 7 nights in a 1 bedroom and in september for 10 nights in a one bedroom. we always wanted to do september but our dd school starts in september and january just to get away from the northeast weather for a week would be great. if for any reason dd can go on any of these trips, bumber,:lmao: just kidding, she is more than welcome to go but dad isnt buying anymore :lmao: since she will probley make more than me anyway. :lmao: we will just maintain the two a.ps and enjoy the next phase of life. :lmao: i always told dw, when its just the two of us we are going twice a year and you will find me sitting in one of two places. at epcot by the fountain, watching the people walk by or at the mk sitting in tomorrow land watching the people walk by.:lmao: she loved it!!!!:thumbsup2 thats why we never will get a devorce, what other spouse would put up with either one of us!!
