Forgot to include my MS review. I love the ride :cool1: The way it makes you feel like you are really preparing to go into space is way cool. Never experienced the green side... only orange. My DD first tried MS last year when she was 6... she liked it... but not overly thrilled. She couldn't reach the buttons on the console and when it was her turn to press the button she started freaking out... "DADDY! I can't reach it!! We're going to crash!!!!" :rotfl: I tried soooo hard not to laugh out loud... but I was able to reach over and press the button for her and saved the day :woohoo::hug: Good times! This year, we rode it several time and she was able to get to the buttons with no problems :thumbsup2 It's one of our must-do rides when we visit Epcot now.

:thumbsup2 So glad you were there to save the day Don! Crashing would not have been cool for her at all! :rotfl:

I've only been on it once - back when it was new, and they only had one experience. It made me very ill, so I haven't been back. Normally I don't mind spinning rides, but that one... yeah.

DW and I decided we are going to see TS3 (3D) today at 1:50. Found out she had a $15 gift card and one free pass for Regal Cinemas... so looks like we might be seeing it for FREE :woohoo::woohoo: Ya'll know how much we like that four letter word :thumbsup2 I'll give a review later today popcorn::

Dec. Trip update, still need a couple more votes to be able to call it as majority votes. If you are going in Dec. and have not voted yet, please do so on the Dec. thread.

I went to the Cardinals game last night (2-1 loss to Seattle) with a friend who went to Disneyworld last week for his Honeymoon.:thumbsup2 He said while he doesn't share my level of enthusiasm for WDW, he does plan to go back again, probably within 2 years.:cool1: Also, (and more for Stopher 'cause he knows these things), he said Mickey's toon town is going away in favor of Fantasyland Expansion? :confused3

and, for tomorrow at 9 a.m. central time: U.S.A.! U.S.A.!

USA! USA!

hoping for an equalizer here soon. that first goal by slovenia was too easy, where's the defense!?!?

Finally, I gotta throw this out as we've had a few new members join, but what is the "prize" going to be for #500? :confused3 If I remember correctly #400 had to buy each DisDad a beer. (Chris I'm coming to visit one day....) :rotfl2:

Yes, we can have a celebratory drink to our Stanley Cup Champs! Now if we could actually drink out of the Cup, we'd really have something. :scratchin As for the Cubs, we could just share a moment of somber silence...:sad1:

And my offer still stands to honor my duty to buy ONE beer for any DisDads I meet on the December trip. After that, you're on your own.

The league is actually open to 14 teams (has to be an even number) so if you can find another team, I will gladly invite you. So far, only 12 have responded, but I would gladly do a 14 team league which is the max I would recommend. Otherwise, it gets too difficult with bye weeks and empty player slots. Only two rules outside of the official Yahoo league rules:

1. No money - it's all for fun.
2. Team name must be Disney-related - the more obscure and clever the better

If you find another DIS Dad who is interested, let me know and PM me with your E-Mail information so I can officially invite you.

Great minds think alike....

I'm DIS Dad #34's DW....I just popped on to wish you all a very very happy father's day. Hope it's a Mickey, Merry, Magical one. :goodvibes;):goodvibes

Anyone see the reviews for Toy Story 3 yet? It is unbelievable. They are compiled here on Rotten Tomatoes:

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/toy_story_3/

I don't remember ever seeing a movie with well over 100 positive reviews and no negatives. Sounds fantastic. I think those folks at PIXAR just print money.

Does anyone have anything planned for Father's Day? My kids usually can't keep a secret and blab everything DW has secretly planned, but they have been unusually tight-lipped this year. :confused3

I see in your "sig" that you are planning on a DCL Dreams cruise when are you going? DW and I are on the inaugural in Jan. 2011 :cool1: :cool1:

We’re booked on a 5-Night CC Double Dip in late July. I would have loved to be on the inaugural, but we’re tied down pretty tight to the school year, so our traveling options are limited at times. :headache: You’ll have to post a TR and let us all know how the first Dream Cruise rolls (pictures would be a fabulous thing as well). popcorn::

Will probably be spending Father’s day at Mount Vernon. Looking forward to seeing the entire plantation and getting on the little cruise up the Potomac and back. Hope you have a grand day as well :cool1:

And we’d like to wish a big ol’ Happy Pappy’s Day to all members of the DDS. :goofy:
