Supposed to be another perfect weather day...so...I'm going back to the Water Park feel better about myself and family. :thumbsup2

While in Adventureland on Sunday, I enjoyed one of these little beauties.

Amazingly, chill told me that he still has never had a Dole Whip before... :scared1: I definitely encouraged him to try one. Didn't happen this trip - perhaps when he returns to the World in October.

Gotta check in, finally got to book the next trip for free dining cannot wait to return. I even have the wife saying the next vacation will be a 7 day Disney Cruise. She is slowly converting to a Disney Freak as well, just not as vocal about it.

Checking in from Minnesota.

Hey, looks like we have some overlapping vacation dates in September...and we're staying at the same resort! If we're not in a food coma from free dining, maybe we can catch up! :thumbsup2

Jury Duty Today.:sad2:

Hey Kids, Does Everyone Know What Time It Is?

IT'S ADR DAY! :woohoo::woohoo:

I'd say Barry has the more fun day. Although you could make lots of ADR's during the endless waits in the jury holding room.

That Might be a possibility, I can give the misses a break from the kiddos and spend some time by the pool or something.

Bring on the Food coma, I am hoping to lose a little weight just to gain it all back on this trip, almost done with all of my ADR's, I just cannot figure our what I want for eat on the first day.

While I was there, the new Summer Nightastic! began. The highlight of the summer is the return of classic Main Street Electrical Parade that last ran down Main Street at WDW in 2000. It has always been my favorite Disney parade, so I just had to be there to watch it. In my typical fashion, I'm just posting them here to this thread. Here are some of my MSEP pictures. Sorry that some of these are not the greatest quality, but the parade is so fluid and lots of movement, and has always been difficult to capture thanks to all of the different lights the camera tried to focus on. And my point and shoot camera is nowhere near the quality as some of yours are...but hopefully some of you will enjoy them anyway. :)

Now just imagine yourself sitting (or standing) along Main Street, as over the loudspeakers you start to hear the trumpeting herald and then that that distinctive computerized tone... "Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls - the Magic Kingdom proudly presents our spectacular festival pageant of nighttime magic and imagination, in thousands of sparkling lights and electrosynomagnetic musical sounds...The Main Street Electrical Parade!" followed by all the lights being doused, and the strains of Baroque Hoedown coming out to you...

Here comes Tinker Bell in her balloon to greet you...

I won't post the rest here. I will do a small TR with lots of other cool pics and stuff as well. But I wanted to be sure you saw that Goofy was saying hi to you all!

What do you have so far? I'm sure there are a few people around here that can lend some opinions.:rotfl2:

What did you think of the new fireworks? I found a video on YouTube of them but haven't had time to watch it yet.

I liked them. A lot more than Wishes.

From what I've read they somewhat re-imagined the show from the "Pirate & Princess" parties from a couple of years ago, but they were cool. I really liked when Captain Hook and his boys were storming the castle - and then the castle defended itself. THAT was cool.

Most of you have never been to DL or even seen the "Remember...Dreams Come True" fireworks show that DL put on for its' 50th in 2005 (but kept running through last year). THAT was hands down the best fireworks show done by any Disney park ever. It was designed by the same guy who did Wishes, but took it way over the top. Total fireworks in the round, and then going around the park (figuratively) celebrating all of the classic attractions of each land as if you were circling the park. Attraction narrations and spiels were interwoven into the show, and pyrotechnics to match were included throughout, with lots of cannon fire from one side of the park to the other during the POTC sequence, fire shooting up during the Indiana Jones sequece, lights and lasers for the Star Tours sequence, and straight up fireworks in 11 points around the hub shooting straight up to simulate the stretching room of the Haunted Mansion. THIS "Nightastic!" show at the MK borrowed from the "Remember" concept. It was very cool.

I heard a lot of very positive comments from folks standing nearby, but I did also hear several disappointed folks in the crowd bemoaning the loss of "Wishes", but hey, that's okay. Wishes has been around for a long time and having something fresh for the summer is good.

Jury Duty Today.:sad2:

I hope it goes well.

The last time I got called for Jury Duty, it turned out my cousin's husband was one of the attorneys. He wanted me to stay, but the other attorney and the judge thought it might be better if I didn't stick around :lmao:

I'll send you a PM. Where are you guys planning to eat?

You're too modest. For night-time shots of moving targets with a hand-held camera, these came out great!:thumbsup2

We won't (Dole Whip) try to influence (Dole Whip) you in (Dole Whip) any (Dole Whip) way.

Now that sounds cool. I was actually a little underwhelmed with Wishes the first time I saw it. I guess I wasn't the only one!

Very jealous of you, Christopher, but also very glad that you got to be the 1st Dis Dad to experience the return of the parade!

One of the guys who works with me in a different dept. is going to WDW the 1st week of Nov. He's spending the big bucks (staying at the Contempory, meal plan, park hoppers).

I was telling him where I was going to eat when I go, so I asked him where he was going, his answer was - How did you book ADR's already your going after me it's not 120 days yet, we can't book ours for a couple weeks.

I asked who told you that, you can book at 180

My wife, she's in charge of all that.:scared1:::mad::scared1:

Ok, well I tell you some places where your not eating

He got on his cell and was yelling at her, ( he enjoys fine dining) got off the phone and said she's going to make them now.

I don't see him too often, but I can't wait to see what he ended up with:lmao:
