The did we do anything but eat on this trip deluxe dining report! Aug 12-21

Ok I loaded my pics on photobucket and i hope i'm doing this right, i cant see the pics???

So anyway here is our Hoop De Doo Review...Review!!!

We love the HDDR it is always a family request, so of course I aim to please!
When we arrived at our hotel I checked in and went directly to get our hddr tickets, as this was our first night dinner, anywhoo when i looked a the ticket it has a 2 by our table, now my mom is in a wheelchair and of course i told them that when i made the reservation (at 180days out) then again when i called and changed a reservation, i double checked to make sure they were all marked with a wheelchair and was assured they were.
So i ask the lady at the All Star Sports, she says "no its not marked, but i'll chang it" now i've been around the block and i know that hddr has set tables so long story short we went to hddr early and sure enough they had us on the second tier, and thankfully they were able to change us!

So on to the food, the fried chicken is always yummy, now i'm not a ribs girl but my family liked them but they all said the chicken was better.

I loved the Mash Taters, oh my gosh these were so creamy and tasty, we had seconds of these and the chicken.

The salad is also one of my favorites (sorry no pic) and the corn bread was a hit as well.
The beans go a so-so review, not as good as last time I was told.

We all had cokes & tea to drink plus of course Strawberry Shortcake that we were all to stuffed to really enjoy.

Overall we like the Hoop and no doubt we will be back!

Ok since I am on a roll, here is Crystal Palace and Pinocchio Village House (i forgot we stopped here for a litte snack)

Crystal Palace is another family favorite and you gotta love getting in the park early.
Now keep in mind this was our first morning and we were so excited, you know how it is, your staving but there's Pooh, oh wait and theres Tigger and you cant eat right now cause there coming and you might miss the shot, so inbetween you dash up get a plate only to get back and Pigglet is coming .....oh then wait then the parade starting and then we have to wait and take a bite in between snapping a picture, grab another bite and so on... its really more of a workout than breakfast!

But in all the excitment I did manage to get a couple pics of our food!

To be honest I havent a clue what all this is or even who's plate it was!
but I'm guessing it Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, Bacon and Potatos, Eggs and a crosaint.

This one is looking like French Toast, Eggs a Chocolate crosaint

Now this one I know is my SIL because she is the only that ate that Hash stuff!
Now this next one is my son's and he wanted to make sure that I got a picture of the Mickey Waffle, one of his all time favorites!

oh and his banana Muffin (he took this picture) He started to take his own food pictures after this, so some of shots are really close up! He is a disboard member in the making!

Overall we enjoy this breakfast, even if it's a little crazy!

My DN declared this his Favorite Breakfast of the Trip! It did get a thumbs up all the way around. All the food was fresh, hot and plentiful!

I did forget that in the afternoon we stopped by Pinocchio's village House for a little snack, so we shared 2 Figaro Fries, no lettuce or tomato anymore added on them but still yummy! and 2 Pizza's were also shared both got big thumbs up!

So after the day in Magic Kingdom we headed over to Mama Melrosa's in the Disney Studios! This was my Hubby's pick, so did it live up to his hype, and someone had a meltdown here??? Stay tuned to hear all the drama!

I'm glad you like em bigger cause for the life of me I cant figure out how to change it!

We like to see in the HDDR which performers are different than the ones we seen last time, my son also has his eye on the giddy blonde girl!

I think the giant pics are a photobucket thing. It kinda drives me crazy, which is why I use shutterfly for mine, but I'm still looking at yours anyway. I just can't avoid a good food review with pics.

Ok so next up we have Mama Melrosa's over in Disney Studios, this is my hubbys favorite and was his number one pick for dinner!
It didnt disappoint any of us, we all really enjoyed our dinner here and waiter was great, drinks kept full, dishes removed and did I mention he was easy on the eyes, whoa baby let me tell ya! Myself, my mom and my SIL didnt care what he did we all thought he was hot!

Ok so on to the food...oh wait one of us didnt enjoy dinner here, my darling son decieded "Hey its time for my trip meltdown" and meltdown he did! He is always good for one a trip, its just alway closer to the end of the trip!
So on the evening of day 2 I was a little scared for what was to come, but I will say that this was his one and only "big meltdown"

Guess what the reason was??

Yes folks how dare they serve WHITE CHeese Sauce on Mac-n-Cheese, I mean the kid had a nutty, now this is coming from a kid who cant wait until next year to order off the adult menu and mind you eats white sauce at home
Our nice (and oh so hot waiter) tried to please him, offering him anything else and even brought him a conatiner of white sauce and another of red sauce and told him "if you mix the togther the will be orange" nice jesture but my kid was having none of it.
So we let him sulk we ate, enjoyed our meal (and the waiter) and by dessert and his vanilla ice cream all was right again in his little world!

So on to our food!

this was my mom's appy, the Mozzarella & Tomtato w/ Balsamic She said it was very good and she would order it again.
Me, DH & DN all got the Calamrie9sp?) and loved it!

This was my SIL it was good, but big! We all ate some bread of some sort off of this, the roasted garlic by the way was yummy! She enjoyed it but said it was just to much.

Next up was our dinners
Mine first, it wasnt my favorite dish here, I have always loved anything in the past I got this I just liked its the Penna Alla Vodka

My hubby had the Spicy Italian Sausage, he liked it and said "oh yeah its spicy" and he cleaned his plate, so that alway a good sign!

My SIL had the Chicken Parmesan she also enjoyed her meal

My DN had the Pork Marsala again he enjoyed this dish and commented how tender it was and flavorful!

and my DM had what I thought was so yummy and wished I would have order the Wood Grilled Chicken, this was one tasty dish!

Again everyone (well everyone except my DS) really enjoyed dinner here!
Now for desserts!
First up Me, DH and DSIL all had the Tiramissue oh my goodness, so creamy and light it was lick the plate good!

DN had the Warm Chocolate Truffle Cake which got an mmmm when asked it it was good!

My mom had the Gelato, which she said was creamy and tasty!

My son had plain vanilla ice cream but we didnt want to "rock the meltdown boat" so we didnt even attempt to get a picture of it, oh and he got a kids salad with Ranch and that might have been the beginning of the end of his meltdown, he declared the Ranch "Nasty" and I have to say we all tasted it and it was kinda nasty.

So next up on day 3 Boma Breakfast and Biergarten in Germany for dinner! were they hits or misses? they were both new to all of us did they pass the test? i'll let ya know later!

So our next morning we went to Boma for breakfast. I booked this so basically I could go check out AKL, I know you can just stop by but this gave us a reason to go!

What a pleasent surprise, my son said this was "Favorite Breakfast of the Trip" and asked to come back and try dinner(and breakfast) on our next trip! We kinda figured that he REALLY liked the food, I mean his favorite breakfast are always character ones so I thought that said alot for Boma!
So here are the shots I have of our meals

My sons favorite was the Ham and Cheese Omlett

I do remember now that these pictures are all everyone's second plates!

these were all tasty! that flat little cinnamon thing was really good, well who am I kidding they were all good!

Sorry there were only those shots, good thing my family was with me, saying Dana Pictures!!

So overall we all really like our Boma breakfast, and most agreed with my DS "best breakfast of the trip" oh and that Jungle Juice was yummy also! Our waitress was friendly and very good. We will make a return trip, and most likely for dinner as well!

Later the same day, we went to Epcot and had dinner in Germany at the Biergarten. Now this I was nervous about, we have eaten before in France, Mexico and England. I wanted Canada's Le Celliar but it was booked for dinner this day so I thought "let's try Germany"

I am glad we didagain a big hit the whole way around! Now there were couple this that werent everyones favorite but 99% was all good. My judgement is always "would you come back?" and the entire group said yes! It was loud but very fun!
But....our waitress was a dingdong! She was slow in drink refills and we had plates stacked before she cam eby to get them, then the bill...the only place on the trip where we had a problem with the bill. We were on the Deluxe Plan 2 cards in our group, we were staying 10 days and were only on day 3 when she comes bouncing back to the table and says " Sorry you have to pay for your dinner, you dont have any credits left" now we tell her that cant be yada, yada, yada and she says well just pay for it and your hotel will fix it later....Um NO I dont think so! So after 2 trips back and forth and her wanting us to pay she FINALLY says, giggiling by the way, "oh I'm sorry I didnt press the deluxe button, ha ha funny huh" how about ha ha funny NO!
Yeah she was a gem!

Ok dingy waitress aside we enjoy most everything and my DM and I loved the Potato & Leek soup, that and the pretzel bread Yum-O!!

and here are some others with a different aray of tasty tidbits on each!

We all seemed to have about the same dishes, it was the pork one with dark brown gravy that nobody cared for(cant remember what it was?)

So that was our third day, with Ice cream and frozen bananas for snacks it was a good day!

Next up Animal Kingdom day we start at Tusker House for Breakfast and end with a Poly Luau!

Love these reviews! So much, that I just had to look up a recipe for Penne ala Vodka for supper tonight. It's my favorite, but I've never tried to make it myself, so we'll see! I love the big pictures!
