The demise of unrestricted resorts, by year.

I have a silly question, in this context, what does it mean to 'trade in to' a resort at 7 months?
You have booking priority at 11 months ahead of the travel date for any resort that you have a contract at. At 7 months ahead of the date and later you can use those points at other resorts (based on your contract's restrictions). Your points, if used at any resort that you don't own at, are traded in.

Ah, so it just means booking at a resort other than your home resort?

I think the TTC's biggest problem is that it has no theme besides "logistics" - it has concrete and steel, but no Disney magic.

With Disney running out of buildable land, imagine them plopping a resort *at* the TTC, and renovating the TTC per that resort's theme (effectively integrating it into the resort). This would be a pain to construct while keeping the monorails running, but I like throwing crazy ideas out there.

I heard that all the MK resorts are loosely based on a different MK land (Poly = Adventureland, GF = Fantasyland, Contemporary = Tomorrowland, WL = Frontierland). This would make the TTC Resort themed after Main Street USA, Liberty Square, or (ahem) Cars.

I would not want that many randos passing by my resort every day!
