We had a 6:40pm ADR at Bome this evening. The kids love it here. And how can I argue with a visit to our favorite resort?!?!?!?!?!?
As usual, when we arrived there was a ton of people waiting to get in. It amazes me because there does not seem to be that many people inside and there always seems to be empty seats but maybe I am just noticing when people are in transit.
We were seated in the first center section near the pods...
We ordered our drinks and hit the food. I got Skye's food first...
Mac & Cheese, fries, nuggets, and penne pasta.
Then I waited for Tyler to get back to leave Skye and go get my food. Tyler usually hits up the pasta and fries. He then tries to break last time's record of chocolate chip cookies (because apparently Boma has the best chocolate chip cookies???)...I think he is up to 13.
I am apparently very bad at remembering to take pictures here but I had lots of tastes of soups and if I remember correctly it was rib night...and they are good! I had a lot of different things and that is why I love Boma. Some things I like, some I love, and some I could do without but here, I can have that ability to check it out and not feel like I missed out if I ordered something that I did not like. So anyway, there are no pictures of Tyler and my food but you can check out my last dining report for some or almost any other review on the DIS will have pictures too.
BUT, the best part of the evening was yet to come. As we were slowing down on the food, our waiter, Jamal, came over with dessert! What, you say, is the waiter doing at a buffet restaurant bringing over dessert??? Well let me show you...
for Tyler and this for me (you can see Tyler's last three cookies and the place of fruit so that at least proves they had more that just junk)...
The kids demolished Tyler's (Skye ate all the gummy bears and sprinkles) and then shared mine. They were chocolate pryamids covered with chocolate. They were really good!!!!
And these were THE best desserts of the trip. Maybe because they were so good or maybe because they went so completely out of their way to present us with these since they are a buffet restaurant but they were so fun, unexpected, and good!
We left there about 8pm for our long ride back to our room. For some reason everythign had pretty much closed early except for Epcot and that was crazy busy with everyone wanting to avoid the rush after Illuminations...I guess that did not really work for them. But it was a long trip back.
Anyway, the cost would have been $69.20 but was only 3 meals credits for us.
We will be back again and again to Boma!
