I really like The Pretender, though. They both seem similar.

I liked the book better than I like the show. There's something about the way Stephen King writes them that just doesn't come out with the acting. Although, Anthony Michael Hall is a bit of eye-candy.

Yep. The series is based off of "The Dead Zone" by Stephen King. I'm such a SK fanatic. I've got something like 30 of his books.
