That is awesome!!!!!!!! I knew it would be out in time for Christmas!!!

I'm so excited! Santa will be bringing it for Jacob's stocking! I already pre-ordered The Little Mermaid for Leslie. I've got Pooh's Grand Adventure: the Search for Christopher Robin for Mary, and now I've just got to find one for Katie's stocking. Any suggestions? I'm kind of leaning toward Princess Diaries 2. She has 1 and loves it, and I know that Santa is bringing her the Princess Diaries book box set. It would kind of tie it all together. But I'm open to any suggestions.

My Mom used to pull the Newberry and Caldecott Award winners and have them in separate places in all the elementary school libraries in our school district. Seemed like the easiest way to find good quality books!

It's amazing to me that more school libraries don't do this! When/if I ever get my own school library, you can bet I'll be pushing those books over the fluff that seems to be pushed on kids these days. At Katie's old school, the librarian prominently displayed "The Goosebumps" series and books of that kind. She said that kids asked for those and she got tired of showing them where they were. I'd rather have a huge, gorgeous display of award winning books, and try to get kids excited about them.

My girls love PD2 but they also like Ella Enchanted and I love the book more than the Princess Diaries (PD is just a little too mature for my tastes).

Well I'm hoping for a pirate, but another princess will be fine, if she pays for her own wedding!

Well, I think a pirate would be good, and it would keep our DDA babies in a good ratio. Amy had a pirate, Dawn and Angela both had princesses, so we need another pirate. Of course, as Marci would say, "pink fluffies" are wonderful as well!

Kyle turns 5 in June of '08 and I want to be down there when it happens. DH is in construction so summer is the worst time possible for a vacation for him. I figure if I plant the seeds now, he can start warning anyone he needs to because we are going with or without him!! (Just kidding! sort of)

We did Ephram's first birthday at DL. It was a great time. We went to the Happiest Birthday Party with him in the afternoon and Goofy's Kitchen for dinner. I think a birthday at Disney is a great present.
