Tammy, Alyssa is absolutely gorgeous, it's been a long time since my girls were that little. I spent many years as a Dancer, Cheerleader mom, for many years those activities dictated our vacations, but we had a great time, especially at the Cheerleading contests that were held at WDW. Bringing home three National Championships was great for the girls.

I hope we get to do this too. I remember how much fun in HS I had doing this. I want that for my kids too!

I sure hope everything is still ok with Amy & Matthew! I know that Jennifer posted (was it last night?) that all was well but they were busy with family. I mean you would think by now she would know we would worry without hearing from her!

HELLO!!!! I really missed everyone!!! It has been very busy and hectic around our household. THANKS to Denise for posting the request for prayers for our family. Our family crisis was all talked out amongst everyone on Sunday after church so hopefully this is something we can put behind us. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers that were said.

Kate....I am so glad to hear that Nick's situation is nothing serious. I can understand that large weight on your shoulders being lifted.

Amy....I was happy to hear that Matthew has arrived and all went well. If we lived closer I would bring you over the best homemade chicken and wild rice soup you ever had.

It is good to be back ..........I am not even going to try and go back read what I missed. If I ask about something that has already been posted just update me.

I am still fuming about that report last night!!!!

That reporter lost all respect with me and I will no longer put any credibility in his reports!! I only emailed him- maybe I should email the station - the report was just so irresponsible!!

oh and the woman - really annoyed me!!! She thought she was so smart with her tips - and they were really just common sense!! They actually said that once there was an unexpected cold spell and they had to buy sweatshirts in the park - and it cost her $120 in sweatshirts - this really annoyed me b/c this shows that she is not a planner - who would go to WDW with a sweatshirt?!?!!? and if she had a car to go get groceries - wouldn't she know that she could have jsut driven down to 192 to get $5 sweatshirts?!?!!?!?!?

Okay - vent over - for now

What program was that on, Kate? I'm interested to hear if anyone replies to your email.

I was never able to get my Tinkerbell to work. Plus I have now passed the -5 weightloss and currently at -8.8. I am hoping to reach -10 lbs by Saturdays meeting. We will see. I am a crisis eater so this family crisis situation over the past week has really taken a toll on me. I didn't go weigh in on Saturday so I am definitely hoping for -10 lbs by the end of this week.

Beth, Love your 4th of July shots! Your family is gorgeous! What road was the parade on in Grand Island? We drove across the island the Thursday before and it looks familiar!

It's on Grand Island Boulevard. We were near the intersection with Baseline. The Island has had a 4th of July parade as long as I can remember, and I think I've attended them all. There is a 2.3 mile road race before the parade that I actually ran in 3 years ago. I plan to run again next year!

The hospital where Amy delivered has a web nursery!!!!!!!

I just went and sure enough - there were pictures of Matthew

now normally - I would not post someone else's baby photos - but it has been FOUR days!! and if they can't find their camera cord - it could be a while

so here are the pictures of baby Matthew - who I think looks a lot like his beautiful big sister!!

He is so adorable!!! Great idea, Kate! I didn't think of that either. I think that I can still find Miles on our hospital's site (7 years later). Matthew and Laura came along before the web nursery trend.
