so i know you have to be out of the disney hotels at 11 am. do you have to check out or is it just hand in your keys and leave. i ask this *** we dont have tickets for our final day so if we are outside the hotel at 11 i will book transportation for then but if i have to check out then what time? also if you registered your credit card with the hotel what happens with that??

thank you

11 is when you have to leave by.

You can leave your bags in check though and always go to the village for some shopping.

Which hotel are you in? As I thought all disney resorts automatically got you tickets for you entire stay! :-)

You have to be out of your room by 11am, but you can leave your luggage at the baggagerie at the Santa Fe until you are ready to leave DLRP. There is no charge for this.

I've never used the charge card system at DLRP, so I don't know what happens there. There is a box at reception at the Santa Fe where you can drop your room key when you check out (if your bills are all settled then).

im staying in the santa fe. i booked online and chose the option stay a day longer for ..... but i didnt want the tickets. they were like 50 euro extra so great value but we will be there for five days and our last day will be for packing and geting the heck out of there on time. also i booked the mnsshp for our last night so will be in a rush in the morning. i dont think i could get my sis to leave if i left her back in lol.

If you have left your CC details with the hotel I think you can settle up the day before but wont be able to charge anything else to the card. This will make it quicker to check out. Someone else may be able to confirm this

If you have a hotel charge card you can opt for Express checkout, in which your final bill will be left on your door of the morning you leave. If everything is ok then thats it your room key will be deactivated at 11am. Its quick & easy as you don't have to go to reception.

I always do this & have had no problems:thumbsup2

So do they just take your cc details when you check-in and not your actual cc then? And then do you just put your keys in the box at reception like normal? Sounds like it could be worth doing next time, thanks for the info.

They swipe your card once you fill in the form, they don't actually keep your card. You can drop your keys into the box at reception. I usually go home with them. The annoying thin is years ago they used to have the hotel name on them. I had one from my very first trip & can't find it, instead I have loads of the same boring ones:lmao:

Ah I remember wondering what that bit of the form was for actually. I remember thinking to myself "Why would you give them your cc details?" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ah well thanks, now I know for next time, think I might do this as it just seems so much easier. There's no way of checking the balance of my account over there, so I was worried the whole time about exchange rates and how much I was being charged etc, so it would be good to have it all charged at once and not worry about that I think.

Ive never had to give them my credit card details.

No we didn't last time either, but there was a space for it on the bottom of the form they get you to fill in at check in. I hadn't a clue what it was for until now as they didn't say anything when I didn't fill it in, but now I know it's for charging things to your cc without actually having to take your cc or using it. So if you buy 10x in one day, you wont be charged 10x because it will all come off your cc at the end of your stay (or when you reach €200 I believe)
