Oh I love Ryleigh spelled that way! My maiden name is Reile (pronounced the same) and my mom thought it would be a good name for either a boy or girl but I didn;t like it spelled that way so I went with Caleb. But i might have to consider Ryleigh if i eve rhave a girl!

January 18th, Sunday. Day 3. Part 1.

Darren woke up at 8 and went to get us some breakfast.

Can you say yummy?! (We know Stacy can)

Then I realized I hadn't been keeping note of what we were doing the past two days, so Darren wrote it down while I finished getting ready.

Where were we going?? A little bit of Africa, a little bit of Asia...

And hey, there's a free ad for you. Need a DJ?? lol

So when we got into the parking lot, we got the very last spot on a row, the one closest to the tram. This driving your own car thing was really working out for us! So the tram came and we hopped on.

Sorry lady blowing a bubble. Didn't mean to get you in my picture. Poor thing, looks like she worked hard on that bubble! Don't you know there's supposed to be no gum in Disney World, woman?!

So we took the super secret shortcut through Rainforest Cafe. There's never a line to get into the park this way. You can use it, but don't abuse it!! Haha, jk.
Since we were coming back there to eat later in the day, we didn't cheat!

We got into the park and it was crooooowded. I was ready for the weekend to be OVER. These people needed to go home.

We wanted to see Festival of the Lion King but we didn't know what time it started. Yeah, we didn't grab a times guide. I guess we thought it would be better if Darren ran to Camp Minnie-Mickey to check it out while I sat on a bench and waited.

A fellow bench:

He came back. Nope, the show had already started. Boooooo. We were going to have to come back later in the week to see it. I really wanted to see this show!

So you know those awesome acrobats that we always go see in Animal Kingdom? We had our picture taken with them and we see them 2/3 times a day when we're at AK. Welllllllllllll, we wanted to see them today so Darren asked the lady working nearby when they'd be out.

THEY DON'T DO THAT ANYMORE she said. What???? Our funny guys were gone? That stinks. So we were pretty bummed about that. I wonder why they stopped doing the show? And I wonder if they're working anywhere else in Disney. If anyone knows anything, let me know! We really liked watching them, they were good.

ANYWAY, after that disappointment and the crowds getting larger, we decided to just go ahead and have some lunch. Back to Rainforest Cafe we went.

Darren looks like he's about to get poked in the head.

We got our usuals. I got the chicken nuggets, Darren got the burger. We don't go to RFC for the food, we go for the atmosphere.

Someone obviously ordered a voooooollllcannnnoooo too. Wasn't us. Should have been, that looks delicious.

We finished eating and went back to the gift shop. We always take pictures in the photobooth.

Tried to get Brayden in there. It wasn't easy.

We were pretty tired so we headed back to the car.

So there you have it folks...Yes, we spent the morning at Animal Kingdom and didn't do a THING besides eat. I told you it was going to be a leisurely trip!! Haha. Part 2 will be better. Know why??
Magic Kingdom extra magic hours!! It was going to be open until 2am that night. We needed to rest if we were going to make it through the night. Well, I needed to rest anyway.

But first, we went to Downtown Disney for a bit.

Then we went back to the hotel and got a muffin and a turnover.

Then we took a nap.

Your day at AK sounds very similiar to ours...we never can get our groove there and do anything....we were there for HOURS last time and I think we did like 2 things!!! LOL!!

Can't wait to hear about MK that night! Oh, and love the baby things you bought at DTD, very cute!!!

I love rainforest cafe! I just went there about 2 weeks ago and I loved it.. it made me feel like I was at disney. =D Great trip so far.. its definetly leisurely.. but a great trip anyways. I love the little baby mickey.. so cute! Also, thanks for the video!

Thank you. We did our taxes lol. Seriously! Then we went to Babies-R-Us and spent the money and gift cards we got at the baby shower. I had a lot of fun, I could spend hours (and thousands) in that store!

Yes we did, thank you. Sounds like a nice way to spend the day, buying baby stuff. I remember how much fun it was when Sophie was a baby.
