I'm SO sorry to hear about your paw-paw. I teared up reading about the slideshow! But I am SO SO glad he got to meet Brayden and you got that picture of them together...it's a very special moment.

Disney bug eh? I've got it too! A January trip sounds fun...let us know what you decide!

Heather - I am so sorry to hear about your PawPaw. I lost all of my grandparents before I was 11 years old and I don't remember much about any of them. You are so lucky you had the time to build a relationship with him and have memories that will last. Now you can pass on PawPaw's legacy, knowledge, wisdom and history to Brayden.

Congrats on starting the photography business. I have been wanting to do that for years. I am still learning a lot and not sure if I am ready for it yet. Do you belong to flickr? There are some great groups on there. I have learned a ton there. Once we move home, buy a house and settle down I'll start branching out. Good Luck!

I'm SO sorry to hear about your Paw-Paw...sending hugs your way and prayers for your family at this very difficult time. I got choked up reading your note....I'm so fortunate to have most of my grandparents, and I thank god every day that my children have met them, had pics taken with them but I know someday I will get a call and can't even imagine what you're going through. I'm so sorry.

On a happpier note, congrats on the new business venture! I hope it goes well for you and can't wait to see some of your work! Btw, love that pic of Brayden in your siggie with his ears!! TOO CUTE!

Heather I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather. My daughter Samantha just had my first grandson Ty 7 weeks ago and it's been wonderful. My dad died a few years ago and the other day Samantha was talking to Ty and said Ty I sure wish Papaw was here he would love you.
I believe Ty has an angel watching over him and so does Brayden.

I can't wait to take Ty to Disney for his first trip. I know Ty and Brayden will both love it as much as us. It's got to be in their blood.

Ok, so still no internet. The guy came Friday and he couldn't fix it. I had DSL with AT&T for 2 years and all of a sudden they cut me off and said I couldn't get it in my area...WTH? My mom and brother live on the same road as me, my house is in between theirs, and their internets are working fine. I don't know WHAT the problem is but I'm getting so aggravated. I can't find anyone to give me an answer as to why it got cut off. (Yes I payed the bill lol)

Anyway, another tech is coming out tomorrow, I doubt he'll be able to fix it. UGH, so frustrating.

Once I get the problem resolved, there will be tons of pics, so be prepared lol

I think the photog business sounds great!You certainly hold my attention with your photos and are very creative. I know there are a few on the boards who have their own business, you would have a blast chatting with them I'm sure! Does this mean we have to find you on the Photography board now? JK....

Thanks so much. I'm really glad he got to meet his great paw-paw. He only has one living great grand-parent on my side, my grandma. Hopefully we won't lose her for a really long time.

Ok, side note. Everyday when I walk to my mom's I saw this bird sitting on three eggs. Well today when I walked past her, three little babies started running around. They are SO cute! They must have just hatched out.
This is what she does when you get too close. She sticks her wing out and pretends she's hurt to distract you from getting near her babies. I shot these with my zoom lens so I wouldn't get too close and upset her, but she still got mad!
