Monday. May 5. Day 3.

We got up at 9:30 to get ready for the beach. I could NEVER get tired of waking up and walking out the door into the sand. NEVER EVER!

So we get Logan ready and he decides he wants to be a rocker today...Well, we decided for him lol, but he has the face for it dontcha think??

We get on the beach and Joe puts up the umbrella that we got from Wal-Mart:

I took a picture of my towel because it's just so cute!

Joe digs his chair in the sand with Logan's help.

Then he takes a nap...Logan, not Joe.

And Joe takes a picture of the sand castle he made...

And all of a sudden a huge gust of wind takes the umbrella flying.
Luckily Darren caught it before it tackled anybody. (I got hit by one of those last year. Not fun..Not fun at all.)

I don't know if I sucked in when the umbrella went flying, maybe I said, "*gasp* look out!" or maybe I didn't say anything. I don't remember. What I do remember is getting KILLER hiccups. I haven't had hiccups in a long time and these hurt. I don't know about y'all, but when I get the hiccups once, they keep coming back all day. No remedies work for me. Holding my breath, drinking water while holding my ears and nose closed. Scaring me. NOTHING!

ANYway, after hanging out for a little while longer, we went to the pool for about 20 minutes, then back up to the room to get ready for lunch.

Yes, you should know by now that "getting ready" for us means taking pictures lol. Somewhere during this time my hiccups disappear.

Then off we go!

Where do we eat? Backyard Burgers of course! Annnnnd, my hiccups return. They hurt even worse after eating!

When we were done eating, we went to the go cart place. Joe and Darren rode the dragsters and the slick track go carts. They look a little big for these, don't you think?

Then we go in the arcade for awhile.

You know that stacker game that Darren got addicted to in the Polynesian arcade on our honeymoon? Well, to his surprise, there was one in here. And it had a Nintendo DS in it! He even got Joe hooked on it.

Did they win anything? What do you think? Darren only gets lucky at the Poly one I guess....Looks like we'll just have to stay there again.

After that, me and Darren decide to ride the regular go carts. (Do you see what I'm holding?? Thought I didn't have it with me didn't ya? Nope, it's always there.)

My hiccups went away sometime during this (funny you can't remember when they stop coming). We left the place and drove around, looking at the new outlet place they built and then we went back to the condo for a nap. Hey, it's vacation, it's what you do.

After we woke up around 7:00, it was time for Margaritaville!

The people on stilts making balloon hats.

'Margaritaville' started playing and the place went crazy. A disco ball came down and what came out? The lost shaker of salt, of course!

They get Darren up there to dance...Not quite sure the robot is the kind of dance you dance to 'Margaritaville' but it worked.

Then our food came. I got a salad, Darren got some pasta stuff that he LOVED, Joe got a steak, and Blair got a crabcake burger. Logan got a pickle.

Joe was talking when the lady took the picture lol. He hates this pic!

After eating, we went to the store in the place. I saw a shirt I just HAD to get. I started cracking up when I saw it because I ALWAYS sing this part to Darren...

Excuse my weird face. I wasn't supposed to be in the picture.

And we got a magnet.

So then we watched tv for awhile and were in bed by 1:45am.

Coming up next, crabs and a little putt putt!! Stay tuned!

Great update! Your nephew is just adorable. I'm partial to Logan's though, I have an almost 7 yr old Logan. Which go-kart place were you at? We always seem to end up at the Track when we go. My kids love it there. Big fan of Backyard Burger too. I love the Blackberry Cobbler there.

Did you see the Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant out at the outlet mall in Sandestin. I want to try it out next time we are down. Hopefully will be soon, no need to let the IL's vacation home sit there all empty.

Ok, that line TOTALLY cracked me up. Reminded me of the Charlie Brown Halloween special, "I got a chocolate bar, I got some gum drops, I got some licorice..... I got a rock.".. "Logan got a pickle."....

We didn't try the cobbler at Backyard Burgers. I guess we'll have to next time!

I've never seen that Charlie Brown. He was perfectly content with his pickle to chew on.
