I'm so sorry that your SIL and bro are making you feel this way. Just try and focus on the good and block out the negativity.

I am glad your going to find out what your having! I found out as soon as we could find out! I mean, I am talking the day that they honestly could find out. She told us it was a girl, well I had a friend who was pregnant and they told them it was a girl. THey had the room decorated for a girl, showers for a girl, everything! Well, they had the baby and it was a boy!! I freaked out!!!! I made my doctor do another sonogram just to make sure. The ultrasound lady got a little peeved, she said, "I am never wrong! I am 100% right every time." I Looked at her and said, "theres a first time for everything!"
Ugh...so sorry you and Darren keep having to deal with DSIL and DB's not so nice attitude/comments about the baby.
I too would definitely find out what I'm having when that time comes. I'm a total planning OCD freak so I'd need to know what kind of colors to look at, bedding, names, clothes, etc. My DSIL was pregnant with baby #2 and they couldn't see the gender of the baby on the appt where they usually tell you. For some reason, her doc was ultrasound happy so they did them a lot. Finally they saw "something" (or rather didn't see anything) and said it's a girl. Well at around the 7-8 months, the have another ultrasound and said "it's a boy!".

just keep focused on that babyand everything will turn out great
The doctor said my little sister was a boy she reminds us of that often "I can't belive that doctor thought I was a BOY"

Firstly I cant believe your trip report is over, I'm so sad I love all your updates. I definitely wouldn't mind visiting there one day, it looks so nice. Great last day report, poor little Logan though, he looked so cute. And Darren and that wig... so funny.
I cant believe about the lightening the other day. So glad your all ok, but scary nonetheless. Hope its had no lasting damage at your Mum's house. Its been really bad weathere here too, raining pretty much non-stop for the last week or so including over the last few days when we were camping... not good.
I'm so so exciting about your baby, I cant wait to hear all your updates, its fab. Hope your appointment goes ok, I'm sure it will. Anyways I have no doubt you will both be great parents, you seem a lot more sorted, settled and responsible than a lot of people who are double your age. And as for your sister in law I cant believe she is still being funny, she really needs to get over herself soon for everyones sake. Any ways hugs for you, Darren and baby

Nothing has really changed yet, I'm just bloated! Wednesday will be here soon. Then you will get those big old horse pill pre-natal vitamins. Something to really look forward too!
And guess what? I have the HARDEST time swallowing any kind of pill. I'm suffering through for the baby.
Can't wait to hear how the doc's go on wednesday. are you going to start a scrapbook for the baby? I think it would be neat to have. You could do the whole 9 months and all the things about the doc app.
doc appointment is coming up...if she does not offer to listen to the baby, i would ask if she can just try it out...it does not hurt to try tell her.

Hi Heather....I thought of you and Darren last night while I was watching "Brooke Knows Best" on VH1. Her and her crew were in Panama City and they went to some of the places you did on your trip. Hammerhead Fred's, the maze and maybe a couple more.
I'm beginning to think that it is sad that I'm reminded in my daily life of people I don't really even "know" from a Disney message board on the internet. And it's not even Disney related info.
Too funny! I wish I would have seen it. I've never watched that show. It's always weird to see stuff on tv that you've seen in person. I know what you mean. Every time I hear about a storm hitting like the one heading towards Texas & they mentioned Louisiana in the news I think of everyone here on the boards & hopes everything turns out ok for them. Of course my DH thinks I'm crazy!!
I do that too! You just can't help it. We're not any less of friends just because we never met, so tell your DH to just hush!

I like Dasani Girl is Having a Baby for a title Reminds me of the Kevin Bacon movie She's Having a Baby.
I think at 20 weeks I got my first ultrasound. for having to deal with your difficult family member! Have your parents noticed her acting differently at all? Just curious since she was conveniently "visiting" your mom more frequently if she picked up on the negative vibe? 
A little update about my SIL. I went over to my mom's this evening and SIL brought Logan over. She didn't say hi to me or hardly even speak to me at all. The only thing she said was, "My mom said to tell you congratulations." And that her Directv box is messed up like mine. Everytime I looked at her she would be looking at me and hurry and look away.
She acted like I killed her cat or something.
Oh well, I'm not worried about her anymore. Just wanted to let y'all know that nothing changed.
BTW, I got TWO kisses from Logan when they left!At least he still loves me!!
Oh, and my mom noticed something else the lightning damaged. It knocked a huge chunk of cement from under the porch and cracked the vinyl. So it did travel to the house! I don't know how we didn't notice it yesterday, but there was cement everywhere. Crazy.
Also, their air conditioner got hit from it! Half the house is messed up from that.
What time do you go to the doctor? Tell Darren not to get to nervous and that he probably doesn't have to take a pregnancy test too!
