What a fun Epcot time - love character meets! The flashback pics are precious

Swimming in the rain really is great! That isn't the only time we do it this trip! We have many more character meets to come!

How fun to just keep swimming in the rain. I remember doing it a few times as a kid and it just felt like you were getting to break so many rules!

Did they really change the character spot other than moving Donald and Goofy? It doesn't really seem like it and I like getting the Fab Five in their original outfits. I LOVE the flashback pictures! Time goes too fast.

I think we, as parents, should tell them when they are allowed to move on a year. Like, OK, you've been 5 for long enough now...time to move to 6. Of course, then there are days when you'd just move them along to get past the current age.

The character spot is basically the same. They just took away Donald and Goofy and you can't see everyone through the windows anymore. I think that has shortened the line quite a bit so that is kind of nice. I miss being able to meet the whole fab 5 though. Kids definitely grow up on us parents, don't they? It's all good though. I try to enjoy them at whatever age they are. Some ages are easier than others.

Swimming in the rain is one of those great Florida experiences. Around here it isn't usually that warm when it rains so we don't swim.

I spent most of my lunch hour catching up. Wow! 3 whole weeks at WDW. What I wouldn't give for that. The kids sure have grown up since your earlier trips to Disney.

Oh and thanks so much for posting the Alaska cruise pictures. I would so love to take the Alaskan cruise but the airfare for us cost the same as the cruise.

Hi old friend! I'm happy to see you! I need to head over to your current trip report and see what you've been up to. I'm sure it's entertaining. I can't believe I actually spent 3 weeks in Florida. It was awesome! I'd love to do it every summer, but that isn't going to happen. That airfare out West is not cheap. We fly out to see family every summer so we're already out here. The cruise was amazing, but also not something that will happen every year. I hope another cruise is in our cards someday though.

My kids do like their pool time, but I also think we spent so much time in the water because it was August in Florida. There really isn't anywhere else comfortable on an August afternoon. It was definitely hot, hot, hot!

Glad to hear someone likes all the old pictures because the next two updates are going to be full of them. I'm feeling nostalgic these days. You should make sure you get pictures of Simba in some regular spots. It is so fun to watch my kids grow up "Disney."

Looks like you guys are having fun. I have an almost-teenager now (she's 12...ugh!) that poses the exact same way in all our photos, too. The Boardwalk looks great. Someday, I'm going to stay in the Epcot resort area. The idea of that "back door" to Epcot is so tempting!

Looking forward to reading more! I have to admit that I'm on fall break now, so I'm catching up on everyone's TRs as best I can. But I'll do my best to pop in every now and then!

Hey old friend! It's great to see you again. It has been a while since we met way back in 2010. That was so fun! Still remember spotting all of you in your tie dye in Crystal Palace! The three weeks in Florida was awesome! Probably not something I'll get to again anytime soon, but I sure did appreciate it. You definitely should try the Boardwalk area sometime. It is so nice just to be able to pop over to World Showcase for dinner every night. Can't beat it. It looks like you may have a report going so I'll pop over and see what adventures you've been up to.

It is amazing how they grow, but we are really lucky to have all these memories. I read your trip reports and imagine what Wendy will be like when she is Shanleigh's age. Your reports always give me hope that she will still love going to Disney with me.
