Welcome to Monday, the last day of September, the eve of the government shutdown! I can't even watch the news anymore, the hype is insane!!

Anyway, a beautiful, less humid start to the day here. Here's what's on tap for today:

9am Aquasize
Clean downstairs sliding glass doors
Change out linens and towels
Laundry
Vacuum
Empty trash
Wash kitchen trash can
Wash garage recycling bin
Sign up for yoga class
Run to Publix
Pasta for dinner

Let's see today:

pay bills
select last photo I need for locker decs
resize photos that need ordered
upload and order photos for pick up tomorrow
once over house
await washer repair man to show up... he changed times already this morning and I flat told him in no uncertain terms that he could NOT call back and change times again today because I have commitments that I will NOT adjust for him!

Morning! Shut it down already and let's move on! I am tired of all the blathering for days on end!

Nan, hope the washer gets fixed. It is a highly valued and used appliance around here. Some days more popular than the fridge depending on how long it's been since grocery shopping!

Going to continue on the basement and winterization of the outside hill the weather is cooperating. Really hoping to figure out a way to clean the skylights. They don't need to be spotless, but they are yucky and in a very awkward location. I think I may be able to do a good enough job with the ladder and windex outdoor, but not sure. I can't see a way to get to them from the ground without going up the opposite side and over the peak, which is a lot of extra climbing around up here. Doesn't help they are 3 stories up due to walkout basement and side yard is another 6 to 8 feet lower than walkout.

Ended up going apple picking yesterday, but I was able to get most of my plants repotted into bigger pots and ready to bring inside.

what a weekend....got phone call from my mom, crap from my younger brother again...idiot needs to grow up
and a cruddy afternoon with Megan after I picked her up from her sleepover....attitude up the you know what...no sleepovers for a month and took away her Ipod too....I feel run over today...

government needs to pull their heads out

Well, the washer guy showed up at 2:45pm.... of course it didn't make the sound for him....and he worked with it.... he said after looking at it and hearing our information that it is probably the transmission... So, he is ordering a new one and it's under warranty...


Well, that was a fun game for DS17... He had like 6 shots on goal that would not connect... he was so mad... LOL I couldn't help but laugh at the whiney parents.. soccer does have contact in it.. gee whiz.. you don't want to have any contact then sign them up for solitaire! Gee whiz!!!
