Morning!

It's Monday alright...starting the day with a 70% chance of showers. Other than last Friday morning and for a brief two hour period Saturday night, all we have had is rain, rain and more rain since last Tuesday. This is suppose to continue thru Friday. One of my brothers and SIL were in town for the weekend. We did have a rain free dinner in the Keys which was nice and fun at the Hard Rock Casino yesterday.

My sister just called me too, they are admitting Dad into the hospital. He got a blister on his big toe about a month ago that turned into a diabetic foot ulcer and now into a bone infection. He is going to loss his big toe for sure, possibly a portion of his right leg. He let it fester and didn't tell anyone. My sis is hopping mad!!! Soo, I maybe taking a trip to Atlanta here soon.

My list today:

Clean up guest bedroom/strip bed
Clean up guest bath
Vacuum
Clip coupons
Meal planning
Pay NFCU bills
Lemon chicken and salad for dinner tonight

Good morning, ladies! I know this will sound funny, but I'm sure glad its Monday! The weekend was brutal. We took the Cub Scouts to Gettysburg and boy was it HOT! Spent the entire weekend keeping track of boys and walking, and walking, and walking. Felt like nirvana to hit my bed last night.

Baccalaureate was last night and the water works started already. Everything was going good until they started the slide show of each senior's baby photo which then slowly transitioned to their senior portrait. Having Rascal Flatt's "My Wish" playing didn't help the situation at all and I was soon a blubbering mess! It was a great night though and there was some lighter more humorous moments, too. Some of the pics were really quite fun to see. They nabbed a whole lot of pics from the kids facebook posts and showed them. Some very funny moments!

I need to ask for some pixie dust from everyone. Gradutation is Friday night and right now they are predicting some big thunder storms for the entire day. While I know its not the end of the world, we will have a very disappointed meema and aunt if they can't see their boy graduate and I'm really going to need their moral support. DH is not help at all once I get the tears flowing! Let's all cross our fingers that the rain happens soon, rather than friday!

Danielle, sending you lots of for a rain free graduation. Does your school offer "live feed" video to another area? If so, then maybe they could watch the ceremony from there and peek in close to when DS is about to receive his diploma. I know this is an option we offer here for indoor graduations and in extreme heat.

We had graduation on Friday.. A true blessing to see this one receive his diploma!!
We had a soccer tournament this weekend for DS12 and we placed 3rd... It was amazing...our game went into double overtime and then shootout (5 players).... our goalie stopped them all!! DS12 made his goal... so we won 2-0 in the shoot out!

I slept in today and since DH was home he had football duty this morning!

I'm taking today as a me day since we were so busy this weekend..

I need to plant my new shrubs into the containers today...
DH and I will probably run to Menards to see if they have our siding in stock or I need to preorder online.
Need to stop by PO for a box

Good Morning!

Dance recital was WONDERFUL! Megan did such an awesome job with all her dances, she has improved so much this year!!!
was a long day...we left the house at 734am and were home at 930pm...met her 4th grade teacher and DH for breakfast...and didn't stop from then on out! the kids all did great and everything ran on schedule! have two nights of dance photos during the classes, then getting ready for all the choir events coming up! can't wait for school to be out....I'm beat!

I have a prayer request too....dear friends of our live in Lancaster CA where there is a big fire going on and haven't heard from them, know they would of evacuated, but worried all the same for them.

Sorry for the MIA. School ended last week and tons of things to get accomplished before sending the boys to the in-laws this week.

Leave on Friday to start our trip South for our Disney vacation.
Packed up clothes and towels this morning.
Started collecting the electronics and food and other miscellaneous items needed.

Rain has not been my fault for once. We did not camp this past weekend. DH wanted a break before the long haul. Although I do believe the tropical depression may be our fault for next week in Florida. Sorry about that.

Finishing up laundry and will deep clean so house is clean when we come back.
