Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there!!!!!

My day:
Bake something special for DH
Gather supplies I need from here for signs
Work - If it's slow, which it should be since how many Dads ask to go shop at Michaels on Father's Day, I will be making some big signs to promote my classes. The manager has given me the endcaps at the back of all 4 scrapping aisles to use for my classes!
Spend some time with DH and DS - I'd rather spend the whole day with them, but it's my weekend to work. It'll be a good father & son day though.

Lisa - we are also heading to the cemetary to visit Rog - then a quiet afternoon.

My retirement party last night was a spectacular success. I never realized how many lives I have touched, but know that I am one of the luckiest people in the world to have such wonderful daughters, family and friends. Lisa (from CT) and her mom, MomE - one of my cruising buddies - were able to join us all.

Caroline, so happy your party was so filled with great friends and memories!!!!


we got a little surprise at the cemetary...was pulling up to Jim's area when I thought I recognized a couple walking....they were our friends from Spokane!! they had just made a quick overnight trip to visit another friend who was ill and they stopped by to place some flowers and were heading home...so sweet and nice we got to catch up a bit before they had to leave...some hugs and tears, but a nice surprise for Megan and I.

went to have lunch, mall and target shopping for a little retail therapy and home to relax.

MomE and I had a wonderful time. Your girls did a great job with your party. It is a wonderful testiment to you and your Mom for doing a great job raising them, and her raising you. I hope Bella's Dad had a great first Father's Day. And wow, Tyler is getting big!

And Kate's colleagues cheesecake...oh, wonderful.

to those who couldn't be with their father's today. A difficult day for those.

We had a low key day. Wanted DD to be off her feet as much as possible.
DH opened his presents. Anyone know how to work a digital Ryobi lock? Tip: never buy a gift that you don't know how it works.
