The Daily Grind ~ 6/11/13

Morning! It's supposed to be a beautiful day in the 80s today but storms tonight..

Prayers and pixie dust to all in need.
Hope everyone is doing well.

Today:

fluff and fold the load of laundry
kids to put away their laundry and clean their rooms
make my next remodel list (small tasks for a while)
finalize vacation dates w/ DS17 or pick them myself
finalize campus tour date w/ DS17 or do it myself (he has senioritis already and mom has "I'm not putting up with the crap-itis")
work on DH's project that needs finished by Friday

• print photos I need - printed what I could.. ran out of ink.. it's on it's way..
  [*]organize by date/season
  [*]decide on which WRMK divided pages I want to use between seasons
  [*]type up team members names
• print team member names waiting on ink to get here...
• set goals for tomorrow on this project on hold while waiting for ink.. will probably pick background papers and mat the photos I have.

track PJ's packages they seem to be stuck in TX.. may need to call Reddy to go give them a what-for and get them shipped.
have PJ check book needs.. missing one class for next semester so we can order her books.. so far I have saved over 50% on her books as priced by the schoool... (saved over 150 so far!)


I know there are a few more odds and ends but this is the list that has to be done today!!!

Reddy, they must have been worried because the ones stuck in TX arrived on our doorstep just a few minutes ago..
What's so funny is according to the FEDEX website they are still in TX. Why do we have tracking if the companies don't update their tracking???

So, one more package to arrive for PJ but it is coming from PA.. (it's her can opener)..

I know it will be quiet - that I'm not used too
Nephew will be staying next week with us while my sister & the other one go to Boy Scout camp - was hoping the other lady or son of other leader would take part of the time
then I'm going to job hunt & find something better - might have to put off the next Disney trip until 2016 so that I can have the time off to go

now if my sister can bring her photopass cards over so I can go thur the rest of the pics & get boarders on them
got Epcot done (I didn't think they went back to there without us)

still need a copy of her pics so I can pick & choose which ones to use

Afternoon All!

I have been on and off the phone all day - checking on Dad's angioplasty surgery, then BFF calls to say her cousin called to tell her that her 84 year old uncle (father figure to BFF) suffered from a stroke, then I found out my BIL's younger brother's cancer has come back and they are giving him two weeks or less. Wishing things would just go back to normal for a bit, sigh!!

I finished up the laundry here and tidied up the house. Will drop off car at the dealer's tonite when DH gets home so it can be serviced tomorrow before Friday's road trip to GA. Gonna scrap for a bit - that always seems to help!

Got in a little tiff with boss today. Last week he told me I could work from home tomorrow as there is a webinar at 5 pm he wants me to take. He conveniently forgot and expected me to come into the office, which I reluctantly agreed to but he could tell I was not happy about it. He thought it over and now I can work from home. Not that it really mattered that much but when he tells me something I expect him to follow through. He is also not very happy that I have jury duty on the 27th. He asked if I thought I would be put on a jury, um no clue we will have to wait and see. He is worried that it might mess with his vacation plans.

Need to get ready for my meeting.

Well, Cassey, I guess if he wants to get mad about messing up his vacation plans he can always volunteer to pay the fine, set on jury duty or sit in the poke if he really wants to get miffed!

Reddy, I just needed some cooling off time and some exercise.. now I am waiting DH to get his acted together and go get the string for the weed wacker so I can finish that job too... Keeps me sane when I'm irritated.. DS17 is at work so he has a legitimate excuse not to mow today...
