The Daily Grind ~ 5/5/15

Good Morning!

Prayers and to all those in need.

Well, I had to fire my hazmat team lead yesterday (aka my DH).. he was to supervise cleaning of DS14's room..evidently he stood in doorway...saw center of room cleaned and assumed the whole room was cleaned.. 2 hours later and 1 big garbage bag and I got that room cleaned. DS14 is mad but like I explained to him I ask very little but to keep that room clean and free of food/drinks and you and your hazmat team lead failed miserably. So as a result they are sweep and mopping the kitchen and dining room tonight after dinner!! I will be supervising.

DS14 got a PB last night in discus again!! 109' 1/2"... his teammate beat him with 109' 3.5"... So I know for sure we got 1 & 2. They cancelled the meet after DS14's events were complete due to a storm coming through...

Becky -- hope the day has some scrapping in it!
Chae -- hope the weather isn't too bad for you -- saw the warm front was moving storms north
Lisa -- hope you get some scrapping in today!

Today's agenda:

DH off to work
sort and start laundry -- started
ck email/DIS/FB
DS14 up and ready to go
once over family/entry/hallway
DS14 off to school/track
walk -- 3 miles
put away cards into family members boxes (yes, I keep card.. have cards dated back to when the kid were born and earlier!)
put away the abundance of school supplies I found in DS14's room yesterday..an entire shoe box of crayon boxes, markers, colored pencils pencils, glue sticks, etc...
scrap
pick up DS14
taco/nacho bar for dinner tonight
supervise DH and DS14 with their chores
TV shows with boys (I hope they are not re-runs)

Yesterday my 2 DDs and I went shopping and out for lunch - out of town! Fun Day!

Today:
DD stayed over so the DDs can spend some time with DH!
They will go mushrooming!!
Plan to spend the day enjoying the family!
