First offical day of summer break!! PJ actually starts her summer job today... She got an email asking her to come in early and start working and they'll do her orientation on the job because they have to move buildings today!

The boys and I are going to run errands.. got lots of coupons calling my name!!!

Cheryl ~ how did the job interview go???

today i am working half a day --- the boys are at school and the hubby is off (he NEVER gets a day off during the week) so i am sneaking out earily (SHHH.... dont tell anyone) and we are going to go to the movies and maybe a bite to eat (like adults -- with no children)
then its off to part two of my ladies night out with the girl friends (last night we went to hooters, had some wings and had girl talk) LOTS OF FUN!!

I hope every one has a safe LONG holiday weekend

I won't tell Jennifer!! That is awesome!! DH and I do that on Tuesdays when he works from home.. but I have noticed lately he spends a lot of time driving me crazy.. he may need to go into the office on Tuesdays this summer with the kids home! LOL

Nan--PJ must be very excited Sarah has to wait until Monday or Tuesday to find out if she passes the background check, but, they gave her orientation info so we think she probably got the job.

sun is peeking through this morning, yesterday turned out pretty nice, except the wind, so my allergies are crazy this morning, eyes are a mess!

Ohhh DBF got the new wonderfully awesome paying job!!! He starts in 2 weeks, part time in the afternoons, keeping his morning job and then in a month he will be at the new job full time. Most defiantly going to make leaving my job way easier.

Today is a busy one!

Store- need muffins for DD#3 picnic today, oh and a starbucks gift card for her teacher.

Wow, I can't believe so many kids are out of school already. DD's last day is June 23rd. She had six sn@w days.

My Friday to do:

Feed cats
take a load of laundry out of the dryer, fold it later
put a load of DH's work clothes in the wash, put the load in the wash into the dryer. This Mt. Washmore is just never ending.
Get DD up and ready for school - school dance today, needs to look purdy.
write in her communication book
caffeinate
work
order new checks
call school
try on dresses for wedding tomorrow. Man, that was ugly. Should kick me in the butt to stick to eating healthy AND riding the bike each night.
Balance checkbook and determine what the mysterious $30 charge is for.
pick up prescription - keep forgetting this.
Print out cards to work on.

Kick back and enjoy the weekend (as soon as 4:00 pm arrives!!)

Thanks Ladies!!! It will certainly take some of the stress off. and I wont feel as guilty. Daycare has been a nightmare and will only be worse with one extra. Woohoo!!! He's really pushing for me to work from home now that we will have the space

Lisa- We are all still in school until June 22nd. So we are in the same boat. We only had 1 snow day.

Thought you ladies would appreciate this. Went to J's to stock up on paper, spent $30 and saved $61 ya me

LOL!!! Were you the one I was movin' out of the way Rachal to get my stock of paper? I spent $20.00.. I pulled the paper, the boys counted and keep a running tally so I didn't spend over my allotment!!! Had my 10% off total sale coupon too so got 110+ papers for 18.28!

Haha nope wasnt me. I was the only one in the isle. We have a tiny J's here in town, theres hardly ever anyone in it, and it just went through a remodel so that it actually has paper now!!

I sorta kept track, but I have been out of paper for awhile and i missed the last sale.

The cashier said "oh no" when I pulled out my stack, then she said "your receipt is gonna be long" it hit the floor. the girls thought it was great.

I love getting those long receipts! The last one I got was taller than DH (he's 6'2") paper was 6 for $1 and I saved over $50

what I don't get is why they can't scan on page of each paper and then hit the "times" button..... would save some paper on the receipt and not take so long to scan each and every page.....I fill sorry for the people behind me when I stock up!

so our afternoon plans entailed going to Target, got a snack, picked up a few things and headed home....Megan was just too tired to do anything else , so she's watching a movie and I'm working on my ABC swap!!!

My day in a nutshell:

DS missed the bus so I took him to school at 6:30, came back to get everyone else ready (they were not happy about getting up at 6!). Then I forgot my camera for the Pre-K pic so I flew everyone to school, flew back here, then back to school again for the pic. Of course the PITA mom who's been asking me to take the pic all week ended up doing it herself. Whatever! Then I had to open up the school store for hottie dad to get his football stuff from yesterday, got a phone call from PTO Pres, in talking to her I forgot to take DS14 his homework he forgot on the printer, so back to the next town to the HS to drop that off.
Then back to the school to meet mom to drop off benches for our Immigration Day on Tuesday. Came home, ate breakfast/lunch, back to school to get DD, and now I'm back home. I called the dumpster people and that's being delivered this afternoon.

Left to do:
work out (yeah, don't know if that will happen)
haul AC unit down from loft to living room
call cable company
feed DD lunch
Clean the kitchen and living room
Help dad load, unload and reload the Model T at school (doing a Veteran's day program with the WWI ambulance he's building)
go to school to help dad with above
get boys x 2
wait for DS14 to come home (may just send him to the Elem School)
dinner (I'm really thinking of taking them to an outside, hole in the wall burger joint)
fall into bed exhausted

So far, I've done all but clean, bring down the AC, and call the cable company. I even took an hour long nap. I'm beat!!!

And now I've got the beginnings of a migraine coming on.
