Mornin'... it's a cool morning today. it's only 45 and the high today is only going to be 64! After 70 degree days this is chilly!

kids all up and movin'...
load and run dishwasher
give DH a small list to do since I will be gone and he decided to work from home.
DS16 to school (his last Friday of his junior year! :wooohoo
DS12 to school
DD and I will take him because we are volunteering at the event this morning
I have my new camera to try it out too
home for lunch & upload photos
back w/ DD to spend time w/ DS12
bring DS12 home & drop him to DH
DD and I to grocery/walmart/photos
call and cancel w/ mom
dinner
cut soccer items
cut morocco items
cut morocco papers to size

TGIF!! It's a long weekend! There are only going to be two of us in the office today, so I see much surfing in my immediate future. And, I'm leaving to catch an earlier train

Hope everyone is safe and healthy. Morgan is coming down with another cold. I think she's just worn out. This week has been crazy busy.

OMG the conductor just asked to see the "3" on my pass (2013). It's the 24th of the month, I think someone would have caught me by now if it were 2012! Ugh.

Morning, ladies! Going to be a quiet day here at work (I hope). Only one officer and me at the station today, so lets hope they keep calls to a minimum.

Jennifer, sorry to make you teary-eyed already this morning. Reading the message seemed to be the first time he truly seemed to realize he is going away to school. Graduation is gonna be a killer! Don't know how I'm going to keep it together. Hopefully the weather is nice and my mom and sister can be there to help keep me from falling to pieces. My DH is no good in that area.

Anyway, here's my day/weekend in a nutshell.

Today -
work
pack DH and oldest two up to go camping (my youngest and I will be spending the weekend with my sister)
call garage and check if van is done - it was very bad news - needed a whole new head and water pump (whatever that means)
hang out with DS and sister till Sunday

Sunday picnic with the outlaws

Monday Memorial Parade with Boy Scouts, then maybe do some cleaning

it is Friday

got to take the cat to the vet's office - shots & boarding while we are gone
then double check the packing - I know James needs more shorts in his bag (they are in the dryer)
I lined all of the bags by the couch yesterday & got James with them for a picture - gotta have pics of packing for my scrap books
I'll need another of loading the car to finish that page

not sure what else I need to do today - should work on the Snow White inkscaping but that is on the lap top
I should go thur the lap top & delete any thing possible to make way for pics - I like upload (or is that download??) them nightly while at Disney

Sarah is heading back to Nebraska today. It was so nice to have her here for Rachel's special day. She gave Rachel her gift last night and accomplished what no one else could...she made Rachel cry by giving her a plush Mickey graduate (in cap & gown, holding a diploma).

The girls are going to brunch with DH's mom this morning.

I am heading over to see my mom to get a pedicure together (her mother's day gift).

Megan just woke up and isn't feeling well, has been kind of yucky feeling the last couple days, she's a bit warm - 99.5 so keeping her home.

only thing we have planned for weekend is dinner at my mom's Sunday, will just have to see how my girl is feeling.

guess I'll do some research on our upcoming trip to Boston


last night at dance meeting I was nominated to be treasurer, guess if I get elected I'll be doing double duty - dance and choir

I have not heard from Sheila.. I will check in over the weekend.. I'm sure they are busy with end of year activities at school.

We have 3 days next week and we are done!!
Thursday we get out which is also DS16's - 17th birthday so we are going to dinner after he gets off work!!

Snuck out this morning to scrap with some friends, we haven't gotten together in awhile and we talked more than scrapped. I did manage to get one set of pages done for the Epcot swap. Then had a quick errand and picked up Julia for a shopping trip and early dinner.

As I take a big gulp, our last day of school is June 27th!!

How is it that the northeast is always so much later than the rest of the US?

Caroline, that is very late! We get out on the 21st, we were lucky to have on 6 days missed due to snow/tropical storms.

But we do not typically start until the Wednesday before Labor Day, so I can't complain too much about the end of school. I think starting earlier in August would be unbearably hot inside the classroom. No AC in most of ours.

Morgan gets out on the 25th. They start the Tuesday before Labor Day, have that Friday and then Labor Day off. This year, they also have the Thursday of Labor Day week off for Rosh Hashanah.

weird we started the Wed after Labor Day and get out June 17th....they did take away a couple of our vacation days and shorten our early release days to 75 min from 2 1/2 hours so we could get out earlier
