P & PD to anyone in need

Okay so the doctor thinks Julia may have "tweeked" something in the arch of her foot. She recommended sneakers with a good arch support as Julia has pretty low arches. Can anyone recommend a brand that a teenager will wear? We looked at a store on the way home and she turned her nose up at everything.

PJ says try Acsis (at dick's sporting goods), brooks (can find it at dick's sporting goods), sauncey (at dick's too).. then she said if all else try NewBalance...

Can you tell she just went out and bought new tennis shoes.. and on a college budget! :)

Cassey, hope the "tweak" doesn't get any worse. good luck on finding new shoes! I heard New balance and pretty good too!

Thanks Nan, PJ and Lisa! We have a Dick's close by(right down from the M's I will be visiting tomorrow), will take Julia along and hopefully find something.

I been told New Balance for arch support too

I like Earth Sprit shoes I get from Wal-Mart

OK finished TL LOs I'll post pics & files tomorrow gotta get supper cooking

off topic question - sister trying "Skinny Fiber" diet pills & is going to let me try some of these - has anyone heard of them??

A local company, too Cassey! I hope it helps her.

My computer at work gave me a hard time today. It's old, so they just re-imaged it. Spent a lot of time downloading updates and getting administrator rights and fixing my preferences. Hopefully, that will do the trick.

My sister is in town, so all we girls (and baby Ryan) have plans for lunch tomorrow. I haven't seen my nieces in a long time so I'm excited for that.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Reddy, I have not heard of them but please be careful. Many of the diet pills contain high amounts of caffeine that can lead to health problems.

Well between wearing shoes with arch supports, no gym and no dance for two weeks, we will see if she needs to see a podiatrist.

Josh just reminded me he had similar issues at about the same age, we added a very good arch support to his sneakers and it helped. Unfortunately Julia's choice of foot attire is flip flops.

Now I will have to ask DH if he has flat feet.:rotfl:

Flip flops are awful for feet!

I get Nike or adidas with the gel soles. I wore them all over Disney world with no tired feet or back issues. :) they are pricey around $50 but so worth it. Im due for a new pair this season.

Reddy, I have not heard of them but please be careful. Many of the diet pills contain high amounts of caffeine that can lead to health problems.

these were no stimmants/caffeine - I think it is more of a clean you out & get rid of the bad stuff & has fiber to fill up your tummy so you don't over eat

no I'm not going to sell them just wanted to know if anyone heard of them - kinda new on the market so I'll try one bottle since sis is going to give it to me (she had order 6 of them :confused3)
