Morning,

TT my SIL last night as my brother was sleeping. Still the same - mild symptoms with a fever that comes and goes. He does have a nasty cough. She went to work yesterday and got to meet with HR. They told her to self isolate for the week and depending on C's results, maybe longer. Sadly, she is an hourly employee who has only been on the job for 9 months and has no sick time on the books so she wont be paid for anytime she has to take off

Yesterday was also the day my nephew and his financee were to be married in Orlando. They were able to rebook for June 8 but sadly, I don't think that's gonna happen either. Life as we know it has changed and while I know we will get back to some version of normal, I don't think it will be for several more months. My heart goes out to them and all of the other kids and young adults missing out or having to reschedule some of life's biggest moments!

Lisa - pretty sure the schools here in Florida and Georgia are not going back either. There is already talk of a fall start delay as well.

Michigan schools are done for this year!

Yes! So many are missing out. Some can/will be rescheduled but some are just gone. It’s very sad.

Today is DD’s birthday (she lives here) - we’re having corned beef brisket and yellow cake with chocolate frosting (her fav)
But our norm is out to dinner with friends - one that shares her bday

Our state closed all our schools already... so it's e-learning from here on out for PJ and the kiddos.. They are doing good with it though.

Hugs to all as this has really made things hard for everyone and big events have been shattered for many too... We've yet to hear what any possible plans are for graduation.. if all else will be throwing my other baby girl (the little girl I used to watch from many many years) a party out here when this is over....
