Morning ladies

All prayers and dust please today that our bond issue passes for the library and we can start the rebuild with in the next week with finding an archetect. Also for Tom's reelection to the board ( he's uncontested but stanger things have happened in this town) and for the election of a new board member who is willing to work with the board verse the one we have now.

So no school here, Tom's headed to the polls (he's running late his 1 1/2 sleep night before last caught up with him) and I'm headed to work. Boys will hang with my parents.
After work I need to vote then ???? depends on the head.

Speaking of the head its still sore but the headache seems to be gone.

Hope you all have a super day!

Glad you are feeling a bit better Christy..
Good luck to Tom!!

Today:
nap, had restless sleep again last night (thining it's because I'm doing a way with soda)
work on kitted pages from yesterday
work on Disney binder
make goals for rest of week
pick up boys from school
drop DS11 off to DH and have him work on his rough draft again (forgot he had practice last night)
take DS15 to driver's ed
dinner
pick up DS15 from above
crash I hope

Good morning!
Primary elections in MA today too... gee, wonder if our former governor will have some support he needs?
Christy - hoping for success in your library bond and in Tom's re-election.
Nancy - good for you with the soda. I usually have one of those small cans of Diet Dr Pepper each day, but have tried cutting back on them along with my favorite - bread!!! Definitely not easy! I have never had coffee or tea - not sure why - but sometimes water isn't sweet enough!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. The sun is shining and it is supposed to hit the high 30's today and the mid 50's tomorrow.

I'm registered as an Independent so I think I can vote today, but I don't really care for any of the choices! What to do, what to do?! I did see that former Governor Romney is in Belmont to vote today...Morgan thought it was funny that he could vote for himself!

I've got laundry and cleaning and stuff to do today. DH is meeting us at Kohl's after school, I've got a $10 coupon and mama needs a new pair of shoes! Oh, and I've got to finish up and file the taxes, pick some more pictures for completed pages, figure out the final cookie stuff, etc., etc., etc.

Christy, do you think you should get checked? I'm sure that bump on your noggin wasn't the best. Good luck with your needed votes, and extra good luck to Tom!

Nan, I've done the cut back on soda thing before. It's hard! I drink far less soda than I used to, but I still drink too much. I had a full blood panel and I'm relatively healthy, so I don't need to make too many changes, but I do think I drink too much caffeine.

Caroline, :scared1: no bread! I couldn't do it. Extra hugs to you today for trying that ;)

Hope everyone has a good day!

Good Morning- back home today and need to get back into the swing of things.

Today:
school- volunteer day
clean the kitchen from being gone
dinner- ??? will have to pull something out
practice piano
put away all my mail that arrived while I was gone

Rebecca

Good Morning!

Christy, good luck with the Library vote and to Tom for his election! Glad to hear the head is feeling better, hope you are at 100% soon.

Nan, good luck trying to cut down on soda! I am a tea drinker and don't even want to consider the trial it would be to cut down!

Jennifer, have fun shoe shopping!

Today is an easy day!:woohoo:

Work
Julia counseling at 5
dinner burgers and fruit

Meeting went well last night, hopefully we have a budget for our elementary school!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Cassey

Good luck with voting and primaries.

Christy, hope the head improves

Jennifer I bought new shoes last night. I ended up with Nike flip flops for our trip. They are not the prettiest shoes but they seemed comfortable for the parks, time will tell?? I hope I didn't waste my $5 coupon, and I end up liking them :goodvibes Good luck!!!

I do not keep soda in the house unless it is a special occasion because DH and children can not handle it. They drink it like it is water : ) I do buy some to drink occasionally at work, coffee is my downfall. I too like tea : )

Today I have work, then I really need to get on packing and cleaning because we have a fairly busy week/weekend. I always clean well before we leave for a trip because it is depressing enough when vacation is over and I hate coming home to a messy house. I hope that if I use what time I have during the week then I will have time for a little scrapping this weekend?

sounds like everyone has stuff to do
I'm going to work then home
it should start raining tonight, windy at the moment

I need to work on TnT when I get home - need to figure out what I'm going to do on the rest of them, I read a book yesterday instead of inkscape, hadn't decided what to do next, I hate thinking up ideas

Michelle, I usually wear Keds, but I'm trying to branch out. I found a pair of Skechers that I like, so I'm going to get them in another color :)

I hear you on the house cleaning before you go, you must be so excited!

Christy good luck to Tom and getting the library bond passed!

Nan, I going on a little sleep too....went to bed at midnight, megan came in around 330 and school just called, we have some ice issues on the roads/hills so no buses - we had some crazy weather yesterday, started out ok...then rain, sleet, rain, sleet, snowed off and on, then snowed hard for about an hour, then the sun came out :confused3 main road looks okay in front of my place, but we do have a lot of hills in the district, at least they didn't cancel school :thumbsup2

Caroline, try the crystal light mixes, they help give the water taste with little calories.

hope everyone else gets throught their lists!

today:
:laundy: towels and the couch throws
lowes to get a couple things for the garage
kit somemore DLR pages
student store
p/u megan
my mom is coming over to "model" some dresses she got for the cruise - she's not 100% on them and wants our opinion - probably stay for dinner
dinner - chicken, potatoes, brocoli

hopefully bed early, my late night scrapping is catching up with me

have a wonderful day!

Good afternoon :)

Took Sarah for her college physical; meningitis shot and TB test this morning. She's up to date on all her immunizations and the doc signed her health form so I can mail it today :thumbsup2

Sounds like everyone is busy today!

My list for the afternoon:
Work on cuts swap
Try to finish my calendar
Take Rachel out to dinner

Have a great day all :goodvibes

Good luck with the elections!

Caroline, try crystal lite or the generic substitue for the taste. And try half a bagel thin or a whole wheat flat instead of a slice of bread - you get the bready taste and feel for half the carbs.

Spent the entire day "good willin'" with my in-laws - we managed 5/6 before I wore out.
Came home and ate left over chili at 3:30. guess there isn't going to be any supper in this house tonight.

Happy day, all!

Evening all

Tom's headed to the polls now they close in 10 mins. Hopefully it will be a quick tally on the issues. A is his reelection B is the election of a different board member that is running ( he's the problem causer 1 in every crowd) and C is the bond. I'm hoping to hear before I crash for the night.

Head is better headache totally gone with no advil in the system. Impact spot is still tender to the touch. Off to cut coupons for the weekly shopping trips, I hate this but it does save money.

Oh and on a side note Tom told off his father today for being a selfish SO*. tom is so mild mannered that when he called me his voice was shaking he was so mad. So we called the social worker at the nursing home gave her a heads up and told her flat out either he plays by our rules or we quit. We also told her that if they have hopes of getting paid she'd better get him to turn the car back to the loan holder cause it's not worth what he owes. If she wasn't on our side with this whole mess I'd be afraid of this lady. But she has been so good to Tom and I and managed to get him to see the light on a lot of things. she is now realizing our request of a mental eval probably was right on and so she's on it. Thank god! So I can sleep tonight knowing that she's going to tell him he's an idiot and he'll agree.

Hope you've all had a great day as soon as I have results I'll post them.

Glad to hear Tom told FIL off.. I know it was hard but it was a long time comin'!! Glad the social worker is going after that eval too!!!!

Hope the poll results come in soon... I'll check back in later tonight before I bed...
I got 9 pages prepped and ready.. need to finish up titles, journaling and embellishements tomorrow.. then I need to get 10 more done after that.. I have 6 prepped....

RESULTS ARE IN!!!!!

Every voter in the town that voted voted for Tom just abt. he had like 1500+ votes :thumbsup2
Bond PASSED :banana::worship:
And the trouble maker lost and he doesn't even know yet cause he wasn't there. what goes around comes around Karma is well you all know

The only bad part is that the 3 of 7 selectboard seats didn't go the way I hoped. 1 could be a fence walker but she at least lives in the village. The other 2 1 is definately:scared1: and the other I don't know anything about.

so I can sleep good tonight :cool1:

as for the FIL Nan he so deserved this........

Yes he does Christy!! Keep me posted.. and stay on SW to get the eval done!!! I'm sure she is on top of it...

Glad for Tom!! :woohoo: Glad to hear the bond passed.. now to find the builder!!!
Glad to hear yucky has been shown the exit and hopefully the other will not be PITAs and we can get stuff done in the village promptly!

:cheer2: Christy!!! Congrats to your DH!! Glad things are going the way you hoped!!! for the library bond!!!

Cassey
