It's Friday!

Today I'm spending the day with my DH We are having some of his home made sausage for breakfast, going for a drive, and maybe an early dinner out

2 great days in a row for me
My list for today:

Caffeinate- this repeats everyday!!

Keep my word kinder

Spend the day with my DH

Not pushing any timeclock again today, so going to enjoy the day off!

when we get home

Need to dust mop too...

Morning all

drive by posting again it's breakfast morning and so I try to get there early.

home to dinner???? friday means fish and fries
boil i'm sure
crash into bed.

Last night was an early night so I was actually asleep before 10 and feel almost human.
Going to be a long weekend round here I'm sure well have visitors in the pm while boiling and the boys haven't hung their buckets yet (we're scaling that WAY back this year.) so that will have to get done.

Terrific day coming up today! Slept well last night (first time in a week) and today is a (mostly) me day! - AND A MOSTLY ME WEEKEND coming up! Playing in the scrap area, finishing up swaps, walking the dog, a leeetle bit of scrap shopping...shhhh..., catching up on my reading, making good family dinners we love (chicken tetrazzini tonight and sirloin tips tomorrow), and playing with the kids...terrific!

Lisa - thinking of you and knowing what a stressful week this was for you and your family. What's up with the work furlough? How's the kitty today?

Meeting was OK. Just meeting so I could sign papers for his reevaluation and talk about Big Misters plans once he is out of college and what services are available in college. DS has auditory processing disorder - which means things go in one ear and out the other without the benefit of remembering most of it especially multiple steps like huge projects. Was also able to make sure testing was not done during academic classes (9th gr) because of his anxiety of having to make up work.

Us too, today! It is always a happy day filling up the envelopes! One of them has been pretty empty for awhile - scrapbooking...boo hoo...but has a few bucks in it now for our modest weekend scrap shopping trip(s). And I have ACM rewards certs enroute, if they ever get here...

Hey everyone - day off today for me, which is nice. One more week of classes, and then it's spring break, so I can't wait.

Today:
-Sketch Swap
-Lou over, make lunch
-Look at his classes, see if he still has enough time to double major
-Look at other classes, decide when he's coming to visit me.
-Continue down our Disney movie marathon list - watch one or two today
-Dinner
-Lou home
-Sleep - busy day of shopping tomorrow!

Furlough was cancelled late Tuesday night when the good Senator from KY decided to change his mind and vote for the legislation that he voted against the week before without any changes. Not sure what his point was but I don't appreciate his viewpoint affecting my life and my paycheck. I won't go into the politics further.

Kitty is none too happy with us. He is mad at DH because he is giving him pills and he is mad at me for force feeding him with a syringe. I am hoping that he regains his appetite otherwise this could get ugly. He has lost weight which he couldn't afford.

Glad the meeting went ok. It is great that colleges are realizing they need to have such services to meet the needs of kids.

DS just came home from school bubbling over with excitement! This week, his school had the Scholastic book fair. (He bought a book yesterday and his aide - bless her heart - bought him another one.) But, today, they had a bunch of "free book" coupons secretly scattered throughout the cafeteria and he had one under his place at the table!!!!! So, our house now contains yet another Spongebob book - but there was never one more loved!
