The Daily Grind ~ 3/4/13

Good morning - this is way too early to be ready for school, but I am. Many thanks to my dog, Walter, who decided that up and down throughout much of the night was fun for me too!!

So, I am awake, alert and know that I will crash mid afternoon.

A cold start, but it is supposed to warm up to 40 by this afternoon. Reddy, I know you also like it really warm, but this warm is good for us New Englanders.

I do hope you all have a wonderful day. P and PD to those in need and I do hope all of you who have not been feeling so well, have a better day.

it is suppose to be 83 today
then highs in 50 to 60s for the rest of the week

wish I didn't have to go to work today & could work on trimming honeysuckle vines
at least boys can ride outside today so sunshine for them

gotta work Dallas Zoo LO later - got pics cut out
need to look over TestTrack inkscaping & make sure it is right
maybe I need a Mickey in race car gear to go with what I have

hope everyone is feeling great today
sorry it is Monday but at least it is going to be a short week for me (got Friday off) next week is spring break

I'm working today. Traffic was simply horrid this morning. Took me 15 minutes to get a mile. My gas light came on, so I had to find a gas station (for much more than I usually pay) and just put a gallon and a half or so in so I could get to work and then make it home later. Not happy.

Still waiting for word from the university. I know they don't worry about these things, but people need to know!

Leftover pulled pork sandwiches for dinner tonight. Think I'll make cookies or a cake tomorrow.

Hello ladies. It's a nasty Monday morning again! I hate Mondays and I should have stayed home caise I have another headache today!

Jennifer - this is the week....I just know it!

Cheryl - I second the "break a leg" wishes.

Reddy - I would LOVE just on 80 degree day for now! It was a balmy 28 this morning!

Today: DH is off work again this week so I left lists of busy work for him!

Home
Check on DS project....make sure everything is done correctly
Call to make doctor appt for me and for oldest ds. My headaches are out of control!
Dinner - corn chowder I made yesterday and some type of sandwich
Cub Scouts - planting flowers

And that's it for today! My headache is putting up a fight and not playing fairly today. Don't usually get the lights and stomach sickness from them, but I have both today and my meds aren't really helping. Might have to have DH take me up to the office for a shot if it doesn't go away with this next dose of med. Think I will take the med with a mountain dew. That should shake things up!

Hope everyone has had a great day!! I hav been on a cleaning spree and I have my house cleaned from top to bottom upstairs!!!

I've got laundry going now...but I'll finish it off tomorrow as I have to get several things done this evening before DS12's meeting.. (luckily, I'm not involved in the meeting so I can get some things entered into our calendar for the rest the school year.. it's gonna get nutty here!)

I hope everyone is feeling better that have been under the weather..
We have some crazy weather going on here.. depends on the moment what you will see... we have had sleet, rain... now we are in a holding pattern as to where the sn*w will possibly fall... (I'm hoping it will miss us!)

Just a quick note to say hi from WDW - live from SSR! Waiting for my nephew to arrive and then we'll head out to dinner.


Anyway...my Dad came down to Homestead to visit DH and I for 9 days and now the two of us r in WDW. The last time he was here was August 4, 1976!!!! My nephew works at MK as a character handler so we r spending time with him as well.

It's been great spending all this time alone with my Dad- I haven't done that in such a long time....

Hope everyone is doing well! Will be back home on Friday...
