A beautiful day here...we were off to a chilly start (43) but it's warming up nicely into the 60's. Just spent 20 minutes on the pation soaking up some UV rays and capturing some vitamin (I have a deficiency!)

Lisa, glad the migraine is better today!

I have a sinus headache from spilling my bosses air fresher down the front of me. Hopefully now that I have changed it will ease up soon. Going to lie down for a bit and close my eyes.

Hope everyone is enjoying today!

Sending happy thoughts your way!!

Sitting in Starbucks enjoying the not running around I've been doing all week.
I'm headed to Trader Joes and Nordstrom in a few. Poor DD is never going to be able to wear a one piece bathing suit or shorts suit ever, her torso is so long. And of course she's modest too so bikinis are out. So now I need to return the stuff we bought at Nordstrom.
May have to bite the bullet and buy her more expensive speedo bathing suits.

To do:
Starbucks
Trader Joes
Nordstrom
Laundry
Dishes
Grocery store ( meat for dinner)
Barnes and Noble- Easter stuff
Target - last of the Easter stuff
Get kiddos

Guess I better get moving, I forgot about Target and the book store.

Buffy, we have swim suit/torso/dance leo issues too. I buy the girls those tankinis. They like the long tops on them. I found some super cute ones on accident at Walmart. Target had some cute ones this year too just not in the sizes I needed. They are way easier than trying to fit a one piece. It's either too small and pulling down, or to fit in the length its huge in the butt. :)

Good luck!

Buffy,

PJ and I love the tankini suits!! Gives up the option of a bikini but the coverage of a one piece... (also helps during bathroom breaks!)

I also have this struggle. My girls have very long torsos as well. Now that they are in the junior/women sizes, I am struggling more. They don't like the tankinis unless they are pretty snug (which I am having a hard time finding) because they float around their waist or chest depending on the depth of the water they are in. Which might not sound like a big deal but we play a lot of pool volley ball at the neighbors so this really bothers them. One pieces are impossible because the same thing that Rachal said happens. So that leaves bikinis and that is :faint: because many of them are so skimpy. I have been having such a hard time with this myself. Good luck!!

I agree with the potty breaks! I loathe pulling up wet swimsuits on pruney bodies!

I've been looking for some for DD#1 too. She likes two pieces but is not a size 0 and everything out there is skimpy!

We like the tankini style too! I find I have better luck online than in the stores. I have Julia try on a similar style to the one she wants and then order the appropriate size. Unfortunately getting it to fit in the bust usually means loose around the belly. No idea where those came from!

LOL this posted in yesterday's Daily Grind.

she won't wear tankini's either, she doesn't like her belly hanging out.
