Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need.

Nan, :cheer2: for a light day!

Good Morning

Nan and Cassey - hope your day warms up and SOON. Is it really the first day of spring already??

Well, all you golfers and golf fans, my brother Pete is playing in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Golf Club in Orlando today! He won a drawing thru his employer (Master Card and sponsor of the event) has been partnered with Trevor Immelmann, a pro golfer from South Africa, who won the Masters in 2008! Tiger is playing too!! He'll be on the golf channel this afternoon - soo exciting!!! It will be starting at 4pm here in So Fl....

Short list for me today:
kill weeds on front and back porches
vacuum
scrub kitchen trash can
walk
scrap
get Easter cards ready for mailing

Hope everyone has a great day!

Becky

yeah for light days - Nan love your project!!

today
work
start inventory
boys have horseback riding
no idea on supper

Happy First Day of Spring! It's a balmy 31 degrees on the car thermometer and we're expecting plowable snow beginning Sunday night into and through Tuesday. Looks like the kids will be hunting Easter eggs in the snow this year :rotfl2: Seriously, the groundhog needs to retire!

Nan - so happy to see the new sticky! I know it's a lot of work for you, but we really appreciate it.
Reddy - sorry about inventory. I'm dreading next week, as we have the state auditor coming in and I know our stuff isn't done correctly.
Becky - have fun watching your brother golf - that's quite a win!
Cassey - I'm all meeting-ed out. Why does everything require a meeting?

Today:
Boys to school
Work
Home for bus/homework check
Dust/Sweep living room & family room - meeting the girlfriend's parents tomorrow night
Call to find out about tux for prom (haven't moved to get it done yet)
Dinner? Maybe swedish meatballs over noodles
Finally look at the rest of the MK swap pages?
Go over ds's course selections for freshman year of HS

Have a great day, everyone!

Danielle, I have figured out that we have meetings so everyone can tell each other how busy they are and pass off their responsibility to someone else(usually ends up being me). After Monday 'meeting I spent a very sleepless night arguing with myself about resigning from both committees, sometimes I just feel that all the time and effort I put into this is just soooo unappreciated! But then I remember that I do this for the children and I feel better.

I know what you mean. All the hassles of the rules and regulations and mountains of paperwork with the BSA makes me want to quit. I'm tire of it after 12 years. Then I remember that my youngest deserves the same chance my other two had and that means I just need to follow-through and do it. He won't be little forever. And besides, I have one in my group who is very at-risk in his family life. He is so happy to spend time with us at scouts each week. I can't help but think we may make the difference for him. So, I just keep at it.

Spring :confused3 its not here either...having awful rain and wind storm today and tonight, possible snow too tonight, but hoping it will be mixed with rain!

stay safe everyone in the crazy weather!

P & PD to anyone in need

9 days until Megan's a teenager and her bday trip to DL :banana:

Becky, how fun for your brother! Jim built golf courses for Jack Nicklaus when we were first together and was lucky enough to attend many golf events through the years!

Cassey, this is exactly why I don't go to the PTA meetings anymore...am happy to help out when I can, just don't want to get sucked in and stuck with all the issues! I do what is more beneficial for Megan's needs at school now!

today:

girls to jazz choir
cut SS & more letters
last update on TR
meet friend for coffee
grocery store
p/u megan
dinner - take out
2 hours dance

hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Afternoon :)

Migraine (day 5) went to the doc and got different meds. Hope they kick in soon!

P & PD for those in need :wizard:

Not much on my plate today just a little scrapping and try to take layout pics to add to the new sub forum :)

Have a great day all :flower3:

Feel better soon Cheryl!! That's awful!!

I too left PTO due to the lack of help.. always the same people.. after awhile you just couldn't stand answering the phone anymore!
I am very picky now and only help in the classroom now... Now that the kids are older the last of the classroom days are quickly approaching.. (May 2013)... After that.. unless you are bringing in money the kids do not want to see you at school! (Although I do like going up to the HS.. I have a few little guys, friends of my sons that will whistle at me in the hallways! LOL... Makes my day! LOL)

Cheryl, hope the new meds work and you are feeling better soon!

I can't wait until tax season is over! I don't know if I can take much more of my boss's mood swings, he is driving me nuts! Today I couldn't answer the phone fast enough, um one ring is really pretty good and I can't anticipate when it will ring....one more work day this week. Thinking calm and happy thoughts....

I hope everyone is feeling better, is warm, and doesn't get sucked in more meetings and work!

I've had the worst possible 2 week notice of my career. Thankfully, it is almost over! Working some tomorrow, and going out to lunch with my boss and co-worker, and then Friday is IT! (Realistically, probably not, but the day-to-day stuff will be done with). I'm ready to start writing a new chapter in my life story.
