Wow! That weekend sure flew by!
We had such a great visit with DD over her spring break! Now we have 2 weeks to wait till our next spring break!

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need..
I hope those under the weather are feeling better soon..

Jennifer, I hope this work week is smooth and less stressful.

Let's see, I have been up and movin' this morning and have a lot done.. DH took the boys to school for me and is off to the repair shop w/ DS16's car.. He'll be back once it's finished unless he calls me.

Left to do for today:

template piece to AK entrance page
work on my bracket
text DD and remind her to email her bracket by noon tomorrow and her input on award for family winner (we usually do a dinner winner's choice where; special event that is winner's choice)
pick up DS16 from school and bring him either to work or to get his car and then he is off to work
remember his soccer bag for conditioning that starts today
DS16 to drop me off @ home while he drives to work
pick up DS12 from track practice
quick dinner due to events tonight
DS12 to 4-H mtg @ 7pm
DS16 conditioning til 7:30pm
homework duty (late night for it I know)
bedtime routine
crash

set up schedule for Tuesday because it is going to be rough... we have about 4 events tomorrow after school... Where is my clone?????

Glad you enjoyed your time with PJ over her break

Had a pretty quiet weekend. Had a nice day Saturday - went to Kohl's and the bookstore with DH...even had lunch at the marina. The weather was just beautiful - lots of people out on the water, saw lots of pelicans.
Weigh in was this morning - I'm down 2.2lbs this week - yay! Cut back my carbs even more which seems to have helped.

I woke up with a migraine, I took my meds and I need to get a few things done today.

Sarah will be staying in Nebraska and taking classes over the summer. I'll miss having her come home, but, she is fitting in some general eds that she is having trouble fitting into her schedule with her double major. She really wants to be done in 4 years.

Ugh, thanks for the well wishes, but it's just not meant to be. I feel like I've angered the gods somewhere. This morning I got to work and the brand spanking new EHD I bought to backup the PC to is D.E.A.D. and I can't access my data. Not one stinking thing. Of course, I had bought a second EHD to backup the backup to, and didn't get to it last week. I opened the package while I was waiting for the computer to start up. Sent it back to Seagate for overnight delivery and the manager in data recovery is going to "push" for no charge. You're darned right.

Then, we're getting another freakin' snow storm, so I had to go into Boston to do my "hiring" paperwork this afternoon. Thankfully, that went smoothly, but come on! This can't continue.

The state has changed the standardized testing to next Monday, who knows if we'll have school.

So, dinner is pizza, because I'm not cooking.

Jennifer, sorry you are still having computer issues. As for the storm moving in, I agree enough already! I was very happy to hear that the state decided to postpone the testing as it is very possible that some towns will not have school tomorrow.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!

This winter feels never-ending. If it's bad out in the morning and they don't cancel school, I won't send her, because it's supposed to be really bad in the afternoon. Just not worth it.

I'm not working tomorrow, so I really hope it's a better day!

Students and staff here are worried about the possibility of another snow day tomorrow, they would rather a late start. I keep reminding them that safety is the first priority! Oh well, off to the next meeting of the day, wish me luck as we are talking budgets with the town.

I wish our district thought about safety first... we have sent our kids to school on some pretty sketchy roads a few times this year...

We are very fortunate that our superintendent takes the safety of not only the students but also the staff very seriously. Although we live closer to the coast, many of our staff come from farther away and could have very different commutes in weather situations.

Need to remember to set the alarm for a bit earlier to watch for cancellations just in case. Hopefully they send out the reverse 911 early enough if we have a late start or no school. I am still praying the storms moves out to sea and doesn't affect us!

Jen and Cassey - I think you might be in for more snow than us - they are predicting 3-6 in here.

Yes, they announced in school that the state of MA has changed the MCAS Long Comp to next week. I was to scribe the entire long comp - rough draft and final copy for a 4th grader tomorrow , now my hand gets a break til next Monday.

Just when i was getting used to bare ground and the sight of my crocuses blooming, now the wet, heavy snow coming in.... You know the old saying about living in New England - "wait a minute......"
