Good morning everyone!!! :thumbsup2
First of all - Happy Birthday Lauren. One of my wonderful daughters.

Almost all our snow is gone - melted! :cool1: Thinking spring thoughts. Only a few more weeks, and I can wake up to Disney.... love the sound of that. :yay:

Hope everyone has a great day. Off to school.

Good Morning!

Caroline, Happy Birthday to Lauren! I'm thinking spring thoughts with you!

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need.

Today
work-last day of work week:cool1:
print out materials for tonight's meeting
dinner pasta
meeting at 7

Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy birthday to Lauren, Caroline! Hope she has a great day.

I've got to go into the office today. Tech is coming to look at (and hopefully fix!) the computer. I didn't sleep well and would like to put my PJs back on and take a nap, but it's not going to happen.

Did a test run to the train station. If I drop Morgan off around 7:20 at school, I've got plenty of time to get to the station, park, pay for my parking, and get on the train before it leaves at 7:45. I just sat down and crunched the numbers and it will be less for me to take the train, even with the cost of parking, than it would to drive in (and free WiFi on the train!) everyday.

Going to figure out postage for the swap, change and get into work. Hoping to NOT be there too long, want to go see Oz at 4:30 this afternoon.

Hope everyone has a great day! Happy Pi day!

Happy Pi Day to you, too! I thought my geeks at home were the only ones who even realized it! :lmao:

Morning ladies! Don't think I've been here since last week. I'm really struggling to keep up with all of the stuff going on at home and at school. How do you ladies do it? I swear that my oldest comes home from school every day with more dates to put on the calendar and asking for more checks for something or other. I really wish someone would have warned us about how expensive senior year is!

Now I've gotten notices about second grade graduation (:confused3 Really, do they need to graduate from second grade?) and eighth grade advancement. Of course neither of these two things happen in the evening, so I have to ask off at work. It's all a little ridiculous if you ask me, but I'm a terrible mother if I don't go.

Anyway, here's my list for today:

Boys up & out
Me to work
Call to reserve spot at college choice #1's day for admitted students
Call to reserve spot at college choice #2's physics department day (we are still waiting on a financial aid package from them - wish they would HURRY IT UP ALREADY!)
Fill out paperwork from college #1 for extra info on financial aid, but first call them to find out why we need to do this. Anyone know?
Get Camp Cadet forms in the mail
Get physical paperwork to scout office
Figure out when to order tux for prom - its May 4th. When do we go order? Ladies - any estimate on how much it might be?
Middle DS wants to take girlfriend to the movies with us this weekend. Call her parents to see if it is ok with them. Is 14 too young to be taking a girl to the movies?
Dinner?
Boys to scouts - find out results of big committee meeting. There's gotta be some changes made!
Hopefully watch Big Bang Theory
Go over our family schedule for the rest of the school year - make sure all dates are in the book and on the wall

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need!

Have a good day everyone!

well my plans got changed - there is a virus going around day hab (which explain both of my boys throwing up last night:sick:)
I was going to take James since he is up & going this morning but they called & said that 3 of their staff was out sick & asked if we could keep them home today

with boys home - no carpet cleaning
so it is work on golfing (hmmm where is the golfing smilie??)

need to find a LO idea for it

Happy Birthday - hope it is better than ours here
it is suppose to get to 76 today so I think spring is getting here - might be in the 80s on Saturday
happy scrapping to all

Good Morning Everyone!

Had a great two hour consultation yesterday with a dr. who specializes in nutrition and eastern medicine. She gave me some great advice on improving my health and hopefully, getting ridding of my psoriasis.

Hope everyone is feeling better soon - be well!

Becky

I swear that my oldest comes home from school every day with more dates to put on the calendar and asking for more checks for something or other. I really wish someone would have warned us about how expensive senior year is! Welcome to Senior year... where you just give the school your checkbook and ask them to just leave a little for the rest of you! :) It's a year that requires 4 additional jobs!

Fill out paperwork from college #1 for extra info on financial aid, but first call them to find out why we need to do this. Anyone know? They are probably doing verification.. It's where they double and triple check the information you provided and the info the IRS has jives. We were one of the lucky ones picked last year for verification...
Get Camp Cadet forms in the mail
Get physical paperwork to scout office
Figure out when to order tux for prom - its May 4th. When do we go order? Ladies - any estimate on how much it might be? I'd get in in the next few weeks... better early than when the masses are in the stores and you are waiting for an hour to be fitted... I would estimate about 150 for the tux/shoe rental. Lucky for us DS16 is a twig.. he costs us 50.00 total for a brand new tux on ebay... He will get several uses out of it.. for Prom/ Graduation escort/ a wedding..
Middle DS wants to take girlfriend to the movies with us this weekend. Call her parents to see if it is ok with them. Is 14 too young to be taking a girl to the movies?

Good luck with the rest of Senior year... Make sure you get any Open house cards done soon if you are ordering or making them yourself... I think I sent them out about a month before graduation but we had 2 graduating the same weekend so the family split up who was seeing which niece graduate.. Luckily if they play their cards right the girls will graduate the same day from the same University... so there will be a big blow out party that weekend!!!!

Good Afternoon Ladies,

Sorry I have been MIA... Spending as much time as possible with PJ while she is home..
Dealing w/ my sis in regards to my nephew being a grumpkin.. LOL She thought it was gonna be all sunshine and roses with no bad days! (now, stop laughing... you all know it was that way for us and still is! NOT) I actually told her to just let me come get him and I'll raise him just sign the paperwork!

Danielle, welcome to the year of the empty checkbook and the full check register!! I'm already prepping for next year based of PJ's numbers from last year!!

Happy Birthday to Lauren, Caroline...

:lmao: DH just came running up here... Did you see the new drawings for "Disney Springs"..
Me: Why yes, a week ago on the boards...
DH: There is no way you knew it was just released..
Me: Uh, I knew a week ago, on the boards... rumors section..
DH: Well, It's Disney springs...
Me: It'll be DTD in my scrapbook!
PJ: MOM! You are a riot!
Me: Well, I call it like I see it!
DH: I'm going back to work so I can go on vacation soon...
Me: Enjoy!

So, today:

DH to call and set appt up for DS16's car repair
await DS16 to stop by house and get PJ to go to work
PJ and DS16 to work til 5:30pm (same place; same shift! woohoo)
pick up DS12 from track practice @ 5pm
make list for tomorrow... need to get a ton done by noon because GAME TIME for my team starts at noon... I must be home!!!

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need...
I hope those feeling under the weather are starting to feel better soon...

I need to watch the weather forecast these individuals keep calling for sn*w... I'm so over this stuff... bring on spring!!!
