Mornin'.. I won't say good because DH decided to be a noise maker this morning and woke me out of a sound sleep about an hour before I needed to be up. So someone is in the doghouse this morning..

Those of you in the northeast stay safe.... looks like it is going to be a long, long day... Need to check on my friend in Nova Scotia.

I get to go in late to work today & get off early
they are cutting hours for anyone possible - actually surprise I didn't get cut out for the whole day but need to order Coke today - hmmm he usually comes at 9 so I"m going to expect a phone call about then

OK today's job is inkscaping Belle - making up an extra 4 of just her

clean mats - not many not working right from paper bits on them

TGIF!!! We did not have school canceled today, but we aren't suppose to see much snow anymore. I guess it is going further east? Really not sure as every station & weatherman gives a different story. Everyone in its path stay warm & safe.

So much to do today & really don't want to do any of it. LOL. DH is still sleeping, but when he gets up we need to drop off car for inspection. I made an 8 day list 2 days ago of things I am working on....need to get through at least 1/2 of the items this weekend. I think I need to assign chores to the rest of the family or it will never all get done.

I got to sleep in until 6:45, that's practically mid-day to me! DH is at work, but the president of his company has told them to close at noon. He went in early (5:00 am) so he'll leave between 10:00 and 11:00.

No snow yet, but Sam (GMA) said it was snowing in Times Square and that it was earlier than they expected it to start, so I suspect we'll get some flakage soon.

I won't be surprised if we blow a fuse, we've got a few things charging...2 Zunes, an iPad, an iPhone, 2 iPods, 2 Nooks, and a DVD player. Plus, the crock pot is going with dinner and I'm going to get the Cricut humming soon.

Morning Happy Campers and TGIF!

Have been chatting with a BFF in Ontario, CA - about 45 minutes west of Toronto. She said it really starting coming down around 3AM and hasn't stopped since. She went into work at 7, said the main roads were pretty clear but left at 9am because it was getting worse. They already have over a foot and it's not suppose to stop until later tonight! So get ready my NE friends, it's a coming!!!

It's sunny with a high of 84 expected by this afternoon but I guess y'all really don't want to hear that

Nothing on tap for today - already walked my 1.86 miles this morning and typing this as I cool off so I can shower. Plan to spend the day reading and scrapping, after all, isn't that what retirement is all about?

Finallly after being sick all week I feel human. I was awoken by the superintendent at 5:15! Really he couldn't have called it last night like 98% of them in the area. Oh well fell back asleep abt 6 and got up at 9.

Cleaned the kitchen and now need to run out for a few things at the produce market.
Clean the kitchen table and living room and throw some beef stew in a crockpot and I'm goint to play with with paper or fabric.

So, it has been snowing here for nearly 2 hrs now - very steady, but not too heavy.....yet! They are predicting between 12 - 24 inches now. We are ready....
Schools were cancelled by noon yesterday, so we had time to get everything done. Charging all Nooks, cell phones and stuff now, in the event we lost power, which has happened far too often in our town. Cooking chicken and a few meals that we can eat cold if needed.

It has just started again with what is actually Nemo (dang he's a cute fish) course I don't mind snow.

Errands done roads were greasy but didn't even need 4 wheel with my stupid truck. Watching all the little smart cars was pretty funny though wheather they are truely that bad, bad tires or bad drivers I don't know but everytime one had to turn across the center line well they missed their turn.

I'm tucked in for the day and night no place to be till 4pm tomorrow, beef stew is in the crockpot and now I'm off to play.

I feel like I do when we're watching the news during snow storms..."Still snowing here. Teeny tiny little flakes."

DH made it home around 11:00. We had lunch and I showered and put on clean jammies. Love jammie days!

Everything that can and should be charged is. Hoping we'll escape a power outage though.

Hello everyone!! Stay safe everyone in the path of the storm!!! I hope no one loses power!!

My life lately...work.. indoor soccer...basketball....softball!!! February and March are always are craziest months because it is when the most overlap occurs with my kids sports. Our weekend is full of sports, a school dance, and a friend get together. So no free time for anything extra and my house really needs me to have free time!! Next weekend I am hoping for scrapping time!! We have only have 3 sporting events on the calendar and a 4 day weekend from school, so I am hoping for some "me" time!!
