They said it might snow :rotfl2: Yeah, I said it! SNOW!! I figure when you get up in the morning with like 10" on the deck, and it's STILL a blizzard out there, you have earned the right to say it... I'll post pics later, but OMG, it's really bad! My small pine trees are all laying down from the weight. The wind is crazy too. Supposed to continue for another 8 hrs... DS21 went to work last night when it had just started, and when he came home, DH had to go help push his van up the driveway. He kept setting stuck...

We are stocked with milk, eggs, TP and the stuff to make the party for DS. Going to hunker down and wait it out...

My list for today:

Watch the snow

Declutter 15 min in the Pit

Tidy crap room

crochet on sweater...almost have back done :teeth:

Dinner: Ham, garlic shrimp, and fried rice ... all DS18's favs...cuppycakes for dessert

Good morning, everyone!!

Deb--Happy Birthday to your DS!!!! Enjoy the snow!
Holly--Good luck to Bubba!!!
Christy--Feel better soon!!
Rebecca--Sending lots of prayers and pixie dust to you!
DIT--Enjoy your "ME" Day!!

I had grand plans for this morning to get up really early and do some stuff for the house and some stuff for work. My brain/body, however, voted to stay in bed! Now I have to decide if I want to go with my guys shopping for DS's Valentine's present or stay here while they go. Hmmm. . .

1. Up
2. Caffeinate
3. DS breakfast
4. Get DS ready

5. Go with them if I'm going; If not, work!
6. Wash/fold/put away laundry throughout the day--don't want to have to fool with this tomorrow!
7. Get DS's stuff organized for Monday!
8. Scrap some
9. Work on work stuff some
10. Chicken for dinner--DH cooked hamburger today to freeze, so we had sghetti instead!
11. P365 pic

I hope everyone has an amazing Saturday!! :cheer2:

We've got a busy busy weekend. I'd rather be snowed in, but oh well.

Today is basketball at 11:00, dance at 1:00, pickup 20 cases of girl scout cookies for cookie booth sale tomorrow at 3:00, meet at the library with Morgan's friend and her mom to figure out science fair project at 4:00.

Tomorrow is a pancake breakfast (starting at 8:00), and a cookie booth at Lowe's from 10-2. I'll probably collapse at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon ;)

Rebecca, I'm so sorry for your loss.
Holly, good luck at Derby Day!
Stephanie, enjoy your ME day!
Deb, enjoy your family time and happy birthday to your DS!
Brooke, have a great day!
Christy, hope everyone is feeling better.

DH is (finally - oops, how did that get in there), starting to put together Morgan's new furniture. I hear lots of noise upstairs. I need to go move some clothes around ;)

The desk from Pottery Barn? Yes, it showed up on Tuesday with a crack in it  I am so not returning the other one!

M's dresser is put together and has (most of) her clothes in it. The changing table is ready to go to my sister's for Sophie's room there. :sad1: Dunno how that makes me feel.

Jennifer I know the feeling about the changing table, at least you have a baby that is going to use it. Mine is sitting forlornly in Mom and dad's barn I want to cry just looking at it. then in the next breath I think there is NO way I could step back in time to another baby. e's 9 and I have freedom not to be hooked down to them. but some days........................

Good luck on the furniture being put together

I know it's going to a good home, and will be used, but it still makes me sad. I only had one kid for a reason, and I know that, but part of me still wants a second. At least I can get Sophie time and leave her there to keep her 'rents up all night ;)

Deb - Happy 18th Bday to your DS!
Rebecca - Your family is in my prayers. Safe travels as well.
Holly - Have fun at the derby!
Jennifer - I understand the feelings about the changing table. We knew we were done too, but I sometimes wonder "what if".

DH's cousin and her family are in this weekend, and we're covered in snow. DH took the boys and went to grandma's so all the kids can play (there are 6 of them--2 are 9, 2 are 6, and 2 are 3) and they'll have a blast I'm sure. Add sleigh riding and snowman making to the mix, and you have every kid's dream!

I'm staying home, at least for a few hours. I've had a sinus headache since last Saturday and now my stomach is upset.

Hoping to rest, nap, and scrap a little later if I can drag the table downstairs.

Have a good Saturday!

Steph

Well we are home from the derby. We had lots off fun even
though he did not place. Lots of fun for everyone. The little
boy at the bus stop took first place and fastest car on record!!!!
And the little boy in our den took best design!!! Hooray for both
of them!!!!

I'm glad you all still had a good time Holly. The envelope arrived yesterday, while I am remembering to tell you.

babyblue & Christy & Bamb - hope you all feel better soon.

SIOH - I had a lazy morning too. I didn't emerge until 10:30 :cloud9:

Rebecca - Thoughts and prayers for you and yours.

Deb - Happy 18th Birthday to DS!!!

DIT - enjoy your me day.

Jennifer - The changing table for us was part of the dresser. We still have it in the computer room. I totally forgot what it used to be in another lifetime.

Today was lazy morning. We have about 3-5 of the white stuff. Hard to tell with wind blowing so hard.

Did get the garage & mud rooms cleaned up and organized. Minivan full of stuff for the Goodwill.
Laundry to do.
Vacuum and floor washing needs to be done.
And whatever else DH comes up with. :rotfl2:

I wish people would listen before acting sometimes. I offered to pick anyone up from the Sarasota or Orlando airports so 1 set of people decided to fly into Tampa and expects me to pick them up on a day I don't even have a car because it will be in Orlando.

Rebecca

Rebecca - I, too, am sorry to hear of your loss
Holly - glad Derby was fun!
Stephanie - how did the ME day go!!?
Christy - hope everyone is feeling better

Just a drive by while dinner cooks. Did a little laundry today and a little scrapping. Frustrated 'cause I had my challenge layout all cut and waiting for the pics - sat down to put it together and cannot find the photo mats I cut.:headache: and of course I only had one piece of that paper. So had to recreate the whole page.

I hope to get some more done tomorrow.

OK going to go look at the blizzard pics!! Be safe!!

Holly, I'm glad Bubba had a fun time at the PWD.

Rebecca, that does stink when people don't listen. You were trying to be nice and help them out and they make it all more difficult.

My ME day was wonderful. I scrapped a bit and worked on a swap and then I read an entire book. The cats liked the reading part because then I was still and the could come and lay with me.
