Have a great day! Please keep my family in prayers today- my SIL goes for more testing on her brain tumor and my father's doctor's are meeting to discuss his next set of treatments.

Bible Study/Breakfast
Go to DH's meeting
Go to next meeting
go to dealership to bring in our title (on the old car)
make dinner for potluck
Wed night church stuff
get things ready for online crop

to your SIL and dad, Rebecca. My niece had a brain tumor in 2007 (surgery, radiation, chemo, etc., etc., etc.). It was rough, but she made it through and now has a beautiful one year old daughter. I'll be thinking of her and your dad.

Well, let's see...it's snowing AGAIN. Storm isn't supposed to be as much snow as it was originally forecast, but they are calling for sleet/freezing rain after we get about 6 inches of snow. Wheeeeeeee! I have to take a picture of Morgan's swing set. The ball swing is completely covered by snow (from the ground up). My deck is pretty much gone. DH has cleaned off the roof (flat) of the laundry room about 8 times. I just won't stop...(And there is more coming on Saturday ).

No school, so no work. Once I get myself caffeinated, I'm going to change the beds and work on laundry and vacuum. After I get those "chores" done, we'll work on Sophie's scrapbook (need to finish a few pages and order pictures).

I hope everyone is safe and warm and no one loses power!

Prayers and Pixie Dust Rebecca!


Slicker than snot out there today. Have some oil absorbing clay pellets out there to help with the traction for the boys to get from the car to the bus. I'm not going anywhere today. Hoping the power doesn't go out while I am home alone. I really don't like starting up the generator. I can. I just don't like doing it. It doesn't have wheels, so the dragging it from the corner and out the garage door in the wind and ice and snow. [music break: A-ah-ahh-ah, ah-ah-ahh-ah We come from the land of the ice and snow :break over]

Hope you all stay safe and warm on the East Coast. Our weather is easy peasy compared to you all.


So laundry, bathrooms again, kitchen clean up and clean scaproom.

I was woken up by the boys yelling and screaming at each other now I'm yelling and screaming at them. I finally said to them you 2 are old enough to realize that when Dad leaves in the middle of the night I loose at least 2 hours of sleep and waking me up is not going to make for a good day for you 2. they have earned themselves a few extra chores.

so to do today
order them around
laundry
order them around (empty dryer)
run dishwasher
order them around (empty dishwasher)
send them outside to bring in double the amount of wood and do ALL of Dads chores
wii fit
make them clean off the cars
make them feed themselves

that should get them to figure out not to wake mommy on a snow day!

It's really coming down out there now although to look at the radar they are showing it letting up and people keep saying it's going to get worse this pm well what do I care I'm safe and snug in my house.

I really just want to run around all day - do errands and go look at what mommy wants to look at. when does that get to happen??

I LOVE my wii fit. right now I'm at 11.5 down since Jan 1st with it. you just have to get by it's little comments at you or learn to stick your tounge out at it. Like Cheryl and I do

Tom is home form one round of plowing so he's riding herd on them right now.
Hopefully he takes them with him when he goes out to clean up our yard cause moms DONE

So I am taking away the mean mommy award Christy.....I FORCED Megan to go to school today -- her words -- I know she doesn't feel good, but its a cold, she tried the whole pitafull looks and everything -- told her she could come home with me after art -- the only reason I "made" her go was due to having 2 tests this morning and today was the last day to do their art project plastering so we can do the painting next week..

so I'm off to go wallow in my mean mommy guilt...

When the Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. The same thing happens in my house, grrrr.

Rebecca, our thoughts are with you. The challenge a cancer patient endures is difficult as well as those supporting them.

The word of the day today is ICE. Forget all the friggin' sn@w that we received previously, the coat of icing is CT has turned into one big ole glacier.

Feed cats
Feed dawg
walk dawg - DH did the morning walk, I did the mid morning.
do a load of whites
MomE set up the oven to self clean.
Made a yummy breakfast of omelets
Sit with DD and look over our albums. She is enthralled with her Disney albums today. I want to be there today too. Only 22 days to go!

Can I say - another SNOW day??? In fact, many of the cites and towns in this area have closed -and announced it last night.Less snow, more ice, and that is dangerous!

Lisa, I doped Morgan up a couple weeks ago and sent her off to school...She ended up coming home early, but really, she wasn't *that* sick...

Lisa--I've sent Rachel to school many a day with cold/sinus issues. If not she would still be in junior high Megan will be fine And I'm quite sure we can all take a turn with the "mean mommy" award
