Sure I'm missing someone who needs it so :wizard::wizard::wizard: for everyone else.

Haven't been around much. MIL was put in the hospital last Wednesday and moved to rehab on Monday. She was so dehydrated from a UTI, she had gone into renal failure. FIL has decided that he thinks it is time to sell the house and move into a "Blissful Meadows" sort of place. I don't think we can afford to buy their house (and land) and it's been in the family for almost 100 years...I'm heartbroken. I'd love to have it. DH is dealing with it all, because he's got one brother in Texas and another who isn't much (any) help. They are moving her bed downstairs today, to make things easier for everyone (only one bathroom, on the bottom floor). Sadly, I have a feeling we'll be doing this all over again in a few months, her Alzheimer's is getting worse, she doesn't eat right as far as her diabetes is concerned, etc., etc., etc.

Sorry, I'm rambling...So, if you could please keep us in your thoughts, it would be much appreciated.

In other news, I've got a list a mile long to get to today, including bed changing, sheet washing, grocery store runs, climbing of paper mountain(s), and and and...And all I want to do is go back to bed.

I hope everyone is well.

Debbie ~ almost there!!! Have fun on your trip incase I miss you before than.
Lisa ~ hope MomE is doing well.. Been thinking about all of you!
MM2000 ~ continued prayers to your and your MIL. Sorry DH isn't getting much help from his siblings.
Lisa ~ all I can say.. if keep open lines of communication. Make sure you show her how to figure when the next round is coming up. Make sure she always carries a little purse or "make up" bag in her backpack with some spare items just incase.. (did this with DD..and it helped her friends more than her...but it's been a life safer).
SIOH ~ wish we had a long weekend... we actually have tomorrow off... today is finals so my big kids are pretty stressed out.. hoping the tax ck comes in and we are going to go do something fun (regardless).
Christy ~ how is Nan this morning? Continued prayers from here!

I apologize if I missed anyone.. I hope everyone has a great day and if you need prayers and pixie dust know that you have it from me!

Today I did all my chores before the kids left for school.
I need to check in here for a few more minutes and then I'm going to scrap the day away.. I hope to get 10 more pages done before I have to pick the kids up from school.

I did 7 pages this afternoon and have 3 in the finishing stages.. so I meet my goal for the day!! Hope to get thru the rest of Sept/Oct 2010 by the weekend and then focus on some '08 Disney pages the rest of the month.. swap items so I could get about 20 more done I hope!

Jennifer-I'll keep your MIL in my prayers.
Rebecca-keeping your dad in my prayers.
Christy-continued P & PD:hug:
Lisa-
Deb-have a great trip!!

Just dropped our beagle Woody off at the vet for his surgery (snip snip). Poor baby was shaking from head to toe. :sad2: We plan on breeding our sheltie when she's old enough, so we had to make sure there was no beagle-shelties, or sh-beagles, or sheagles, or whatever...

Working on swaps today, then we have baseball practice tonight, and a football meeting. Ready for the weekend!

Hope everyone has a great day!:)

my daddy had Alzheimers, its such a rotten disease, my mom had to put him into a care unit in 2001, make sure your FIL finds one that is specifically for people with Alzheimers , all lotof them arent equipped or have staff that know what they are dealing with.

Hey All!

Lisa~ Coke and chocolate, for you and her. Coke helps settle the tummy and chocolate just helps.
P and PD to all who need it right now. Both of my parents left me at a younger age so all I can do is sympathize (sp).Have not had to go through what many are dealing with.
Deb~ if you are around I have a question for you. After a very long time of tring to figure out what was wrong with me we hit upon the right PA who was able to send me to the right specialist and I am severly anemic, which is a side effect of Gastric Bypass. Anyway, having an infusion tomorrow and was wondering if you, or anyone else, could possibly give ma e heads up of what to expect. Having it done in one 6 hour session tomorrow.

2 things on my list today...
1) Laundry, mostly putting everything away.
and
2) I. WILL. FINISH. THE. LOUVE. TODAY.!!!
(4 more pages I think!)

Deb, if you are on, hope you have a MAGICAL trip!:cool1:

Jen lots of hugs from our house to your's. Prayers you can find away to buy the house if that is truely what you want.

thanks for all the prayers. things are really headed downhill as of this am. they are now having to give her the morphine much more often to keep her comfortable. I "talked" with her again this am and hopefully that will be enough for her. I just HATE the waiting. and my cousins are driving me insane complaining at me cause thier mother is there with mine. I'm 2.5hours away and they are with in 20 mins. someone please find me a head banging smiley

off to get something done around here.

Lisa,

My Julia has her period for a little over a year now and it is still not very predictable. So make sure Megan knows to always be prepared and maybe keep a spare set of clothes in school if possible. Julia keeps a spare set in her locker for emegencies. It is so hard to watch them grow up sometimes.

Jennifer,

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Hopefully you will find a way to keep the house in the family.

Cassey

I know it will be very unpredictable, nothing last night, so just a quick one this month! good idea to keep extra pants at school, will have to check on that since they don't have locks on the lockers!

Rita, chocolate makes EVERYTHING better in my house!!!
