today:

tweak my card samples a bit
pack up cookies for tonight's party
Megan's friend will be coming about 8 am to spend day with us (her mom has to work until 3)
take girls shopping for tonight's party - think 8-10 kids showing up
back to Karlee's to set up party
enjoy party
help clean up and head for home....no worries, won't be drinking

New Year's Day:

hopefully sleep in
watch Rose parade
take down more decorations
maybe cut cards
pack up cookies to take to friends
Mom is treating us to dinner
head to friends for rest of evening

And a Happy New Year's Eve to you Rebecca and to Nan, Lisa and Chae and everyone else!!

Rebecca - I think everyone and their Grandmother is heading to the Keys for NY's so be safe! The traffic on the Turnpike has been backed up for 2 miles around the 11am-1pm hour these last two days!

Well, I had to take our other kitty Boodles to the vet yesterday. She has being peeing in a couple different spots around the house since her sister has passed. Vet agreed it was behavioral and that it can be very traumatic for her to lose her companion of 11 years so unexpectedly, especially since they were from the same litter and have been together so long. He said he could give her an kitty anti-depressant (what?) but like us, extra comfort and time will help her heal. Sometimes she just looks so forlorn, it really can catch your heart. Been giving her lots of extra love and attention...

Today:
Morning chores
Walk
Sweep upstairs balcony
Meal planning for next 10 days
Pay a couple bills
Clean out and wipe down fridge
Make grocery list/coupons
Work on photos/scrap

Spending NYE at home with my sweetie - making a standing rib roast, bakers and salad for dinner!

Good Morning all!!!

I want to wish each of you a safe NYE! Please be careful... and a wonderful 2015!!
I can't believe how quickly 2014 passed!!
So much to get done, prepare for, and witness in 2015..

We need to start prepping for PJ's college graduation and job hunt for 2016. Starting January 2015 she starts student teaching in various classrooms.. She is already on the look out for a Disney idea for her graduation cap.. I need to order her "cheer" bow to attach to her graduation cap. I want to have her year and monogram put on it.

So today's agenda:

once over house
prep for our family party (we never go out on NYE but spend time as a family.)
pull Disney games for tonight/movies
fingers crossed our new Disney game comes in for tonight
set up snack buffet
go grab drinks for the 3 adults to celebrate tonight (wow! another first.. PJ can drink on NYE!)

had coffee with Dsil
town to by snacks for tonight (we also stay home & the Red Wings always play !)
prepare snacks
early dinner out with the bestest neighbors!

The last 2 months I have done virtually no scrapping - hope to do better next year!
